The coffee was excellent at the bar of the hotel. The roof top pool is amazing but didnt get to swim much as it was very windy and water was freezing but thats just cause it was a cold week in Oct. I did sun bath though.

CanadaThis is the most gorgeous hotel I have stayed in Malta in my opinion in terms of design, restoration, and quality compared to other hotels I stayed including two Marriott hotels in St Julian’s, Ramla Bay Resort, Maria Rosa Suites in Gozo. The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, even waiting for me for a 2am check-in and graciously allowing a late check-out. My top-floor room came with a large balcony facing the courtyard, a super comfortable bed, and high-quality amenities. The breakfast was delicious, served by friendly staff, and I particularly enjoyed a brief property tour offered by the supervisor, Themis. My short stay was absolutely fantastic, and I felt very welcomed. I will definitely return in the future and highly recommend this hotel for anyone that prefers to be away from the crowds while staying close to the airport and the southern coastline.

ItalyThe rooftop patio is amazing! Really spacious and relaxing seating options. Bathroom is huge with a beautiful rain shower. There’s also a small kitchen stocked with the import things. The staff are incredibly friendly and really quick to respond to requests and questions. They helped me setup Champagne upon arrival for my husband’s birthday and even surprised us by decorating the room with balloons and flowers. Highly recommend if you’re staying in Sliema.

GermanyLoved Amery to bits , we stayed there for almost a week. We were given a super warm welcome by the staff at the reception (Shout out to Maya) . She explained us everything about Malta using a map along with places to go , public transport or travel options to get there. They also offer beach towels when you visit the beach. The breakfast is the most perfect start of the day , they have a very thoughtful curated menu. The location is perfect.

The hotel looks really royal with its decorations, red velvet carpets on the curved staircases in the lobby and paintings on the wall. Room was nice and spacious and clean. The only thing which was not absolutely perfect was the side sea view from our room on the 10th floor, we could see sea only partially, the rest of the view was to the roof of the hotel annex. But still it was nice to see the buildings on the other side of the bay, especially in the evening when lighted up.
The receptionist of the hotel was very friendly and we had a nice little chat with him which made us feel like really welcomed. The hotel has high standards of service.
Breakfast was enjoyable, good variety, fresh omelettes and pancakes are prepared by the cook, nice fresh bread. Variety of juices, fried mushrooms, salads, ham and salmon etc. Everything that you could wish for breakfast.
Location was excellent, even closer to Valletta old town than we expected. Nice short walk by foot. Although there were some staircases to go up the hill. It was wonderful that the hotel had 2 pools - outdoor and indoor and both were open in February. We have had bad experiences in other hotels where pools are really seasonal and empty. But it was not the case here. We got really nice warm and sunny days approx. 19-20 degrees perfect for sunbathing at the pool. Although, we preferred to swim in indoor pool which was warmer, just 2 steps from outside to reach there.
The hotel has its own little marina and we were picked up from there for a day trip. Another convenience that we could not expect. There was a small desk at the reception where day trips were offered, a really nice elderly guy gave a good overview of the possible trips and encouraged us to take Gozo-Comino-Blue lagoon boat trip in February which we really enjoyed. These islands and the lagoon felt like in summer, we even took a short swim in blue lagoon (water 16 degrees). It was very popular, we had a big tourist bus full of people.

Since we arrived at the Pergola Hotel we were extremely welcomed.
Rouselle, the receptionist, was so friendly, kind and mainly patient with us and all ours doubts. Also helped us to choose the best excursions to the others islands. We got very thankful.
About the room, it was very comfortable with kitchen utilities.
We enjoyed a lot spending time at night drinking some wine while felt the Mediterranean brease (an amazing vibe).
The hotel is perfect, very well located, with many restaurants around for all kind of travelers. There are 3 swimming pools in the hotel and all are very clean. It has a big restaurant and also a bar beside the outdoor pool, an amazing place to stay and see the day goes out.
A good thing is that the hotel has a lot of discounts and promos you can enjoy anywhere, both in restaurant services and outside the restaurant.
The Melieha Bay is perfect to go with kids or only laydown and relax the sun/sea.
The spa also deserves a word.
I had one of the best experiences I have had in a Spa. As a masseur, I'm used to receive massages but nothing like what I had here. I also was very welcomed by Onidia, she explained everything about the massages I would like and helped us to get the best experience. She also showed us the spa and the amazing products they use, impossible don't enjoy the spa services.
We chose hydrobath massage with a glass of prosecco (we highly recommend, mainly for couples - so relaxing and romantic) and the Enchanted Aromas Getaway spa experience. The massage room was prepered for both of us and the masseurs (Melrose and Katherine) was very gently and made the massages in the pressure that we asked.
Beyond all of these, we felt so happy cause the hotel is very gay friendly. In our room they had the care to leave the spa folder personalized with a gay couple and we, as a woman couple, felt very well with.
Once again, thanks a lot for the amazing experience.

3. Different restaurant choices for dinner(need to book with a machine downstairs in the lobby)

5. There were 2 bowling alleys and arcades in the pub with extra cost
6. There were some activities everyday for all ages
7. Water refill facility in the lobby( environmentally friendly)
8. Truly all inclusive with alcoholic drinks(some people complained that spirits were diluted but it was fun to try many cocktails everyday coz I am not a big drinker)
9. You can walk to Popeyes village in 15 mins.
10. Ferry terminal is close. Around €8 by taxi
11. Beach is right in front. Shallow and clear water(but just too cold to swim in Apr)
12. There is a convenience store and restaurants nearby.

Actually we had great experience ->
1. Room was quiet & with Balcony (pay a little extra for sea view or partly sea view),
2. Bus stop right next to the hotel - easy access,
3. Nearby there are 9-10 rated restaurants some of them are definitely a must go! (Texas BBQ burgers, Ocean Basket & others)
4. Lovely & helpfull staff.
5. Ferries are nearby (local port) and the main port ~ 20 min (by car)
6. A HUGE bonus - we had an afternoon flight and hotel let's you use all of their amenities even after you check-out 10AM
Pool, Indoor Pool, Gym, Showers, Towels etc. Which makes it to amazing last day of stay before plane.

The location is great! It's in the middle of nightlife, close to supermarkets and many shops, close to the center, a few minutes drive from everywhere in malta. The sea is 2 minutes away.
Breakfast has many options, fresh vegetables and fruits every day.
The rooms were very clean, their cleaning services are excellent and reliable. Rooms are big and lack nothing.
Most importantly, the staff were amazing and understanding, they care about their guests and respect them, they make sure you're comfortable. Staff in general were very kind, they go above and beyond to make sure you're statistied. Specifically, we want to thank Loredana for her spectacular service.
I wouldn't hesitate booking this hotel again for another visit in Malta.

The location is perfect - right at the bay, close to the bus stop and big supermarket, in a quiet area, but close to all the fun. Freshly renovated, clean, met expectations based on the pics, nice view. Access to the sea right from the swimming pool area is a huge advantage. Good quality sun loungers and umbrellas in sufficient amount. Varied and tasty breakfast. Dinner is also delicious and good value for money. Responsive staff doing their best.

The reception at Labranda is excellent. Riviera has the kindest staff I’ve seen so far. The breakfast buffet is very wide and offers something for everyone. There are also two restaurants within the hotel, an Italian and a Lebanese one. I strongly recommend the Italian one.

St. Julian's is amazing.
St. Julian's is amazing. I'm a pensioner and not into night life. Paceville (the nightlife area) is still amazing. I ventured there at night to watch the football in a bar called Hugo's. A well run bar / eaterie. The whole area is jumping (wish I was younger). The new skyscraper hotels / shopping centre is amazing too. Great place for everyone.

Sliema was an ideal place to stay in Malta as the location is excellent close to all amenities, ferry port ,airport, buses and a short stroll from St Julian's and ideally situated for easy access to other cities .

It's really a very wonderful travel in Malta,there are so many sunlight ,beach, sea view.
The most thing is the islands not so big,we can city walk,or take taxi very convenient,the food is very delicious but a little expensive in fact.

Valletta is one of the most historic places in Europe, with history going back more than 5500 years. The castles are spectacular examples of mediaeval defenses, which saw action right up to WW2. And the museums are exceptionally well organised, with guides you can download and listen to at your own pace.

Best to visit in winter lovely and warm amazing bars and restaurants and super cocktail bar lots to see and do clean beautiful place . Cheaper to get normal bus passes to travel around .Avoid taxis unless prebooked

Great little town, with easy acces to the beach and public transport options to discover the rest of the island. Great sides to visit in and around town, be mindful of all the stairs, lots if up- and downhill in town. A good variety of restaurants on offer, with supermarkets for other daily needs. There is a bus that goes to the airport (approx. 1hr 20min)

Whilst out of the way of the city the marina area is vibrant and well serviced with bars/restaurants. Pleasant stroll to a decent but small beach with bar/restaurant. Very well served for travel around the island… cheap buses and taxis.

We were glad that we stayed out of the centre of Valletta in...
We were glad that we stayed out of the centre of Valletta in this more peaceful area and yet it was very close to the centre and we really enjoyed the walk back to the apartment after visiting Valletta. In the area there are lots of things that are on the Floriana Historic trail.
You are close enough to the centre to walk to restaurants in the evening but we had a lovely meal sat outside at Balzunetta restaurant.

Msida looks like a good midway point between Valleta and...
Msida looks like a good midway point between Valleta and Sliema, but it's really a residential neighborhood with not much to offer to someone coming to Malta for vacation.
In between the constant construction and abandoned and derelict houses, it's quite unsightly.
On the flip-side, since it's residential, you get some good local spots with affordable prices and great quality.

Point de View is ideally situated outside the main gate to Mdina.
The bus services from Rabat to anywhere on the island are excellent.
We know the island of Malta very well after visiting annually for 45 years. and Rabat and the nearby towns and countryside are relatively unspoilt in comparison to the Northeast of the island, and also free of traffic queues!
You are close to Hagar Qim, Ghar Lapsi, Limestone Heritage and Wied is Zurrieq - history and lovely bays on your doorstep.
