The breakfast buffet is beautifully placed and so goood! We were close to where we were catching our boat ride to the lagoon. Walking distance to aquarium and several amazing restaurants. The extra family pool area was perfect for my energetic boys and daughter. They held are luggage before our check in and even got us checked in early than expected. At first I was scared this was going to be some kind of...
At first I was scared this was going to be some kind of party area of the city, but luckily I was wrong. At night, it was very quiet except for the promenade. So it was a really good location because you could have your quiet but also enjoy the lively environment of the sea promenade if you wished so by just walking a few hundred meters. Regarding transportations, it was super easy to come around, with all the buses to major destination in just a half kilometer-one kilometer radius, but be mindful that traffic in Malta is kind of heavy and to go to any other municipality it takes quite longer than you would expect (for instance, to go from St. Julian to Mdina it took my almost 1h and 30 minutes, even though they are actually so close)Guest review byAnaSpain - 10.0

The beach was clean and sunbeds with umbrellas were great. They even provided a separate towel to lie on. This was a small cost for the use of it all day. The bar and restaurant weren’t part of our hotel but just a stones throw, so perfect. Lots of rocks to lie on and ladders used in parts to get into the sea. St. Paul’s Bay is a pretty town with shops, restaurants, and beachside cafes, easy to get around using ferry and Uber.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Although I have been to Mellieha before and it has changed enormously in the last 25 years, I think it is still one of the most charming parts of Malta. There are dozens of bars and restaurants, a fair few of which I have visited and every one was excellent. I could not fault the village in any way I would certainly recommend this as a holiday destination. Although very hilly, I believe that is part of its charm and I have stayed in other parts of Malta, all of which have their own attraction.Guest review byMcLennan - 10.0

Quiet fishing bay with more locals than tourists. Water is super clean here and safe swimming straight off the rocks. Great beach bars with tasty food and fantastic happy hours. Msida is a great location to stay being perfectly placed to visit the busy areas of Valletta, Sliema and St Julian's. The marina is amazing with some of the best restaurants in Malta just a short distance away on foot or by Uber or Bolt. Buses run to all parts of the island from stops within walking distance of the centre. One of our group lived in Marsaxlokk when a baby, so it was great to go and see the house. The harbour is pretty, but some may not like the fact that there is a huge power station and a container port across the harbour. Personally, this was a plus as one of our group works in shipping. It did not detract from the stay at all, and in fact it was great to see fishing boats and real activity there. There are many good restaurants along the harbour. People friendly. Lots of cats who appear to be fed by the locals who have also provided comfy looking cat houses/hotels for them (one in an old boat)!
