- From $205.52 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 646 reviewsWe loved our stay at Boco Boutique Hotel. It was small and sweet place with a nice view of 3 cities and Valletta from the rooftop. At the rooftop you can enjoy having your breakfast, lunch or dinner or drinks while enjoying the sunset and the view. The location is very convenient. A few minutes walk to busstops and ferry terminal going back and forth (3 cities to Valetta). If you like a place thats less crowded, typical Maltese neighborhood so we highly recommend this place. The staff were very nice and accomodating and Tony the owner was very hospitable and very nice. It was not a typical hotel where there is always somebody at the reception. Kunal one of the staff, after his shift in the morning, you can communicate with him through WhatsApp if you have any questions or request. He even recommended places to visit and how to get there. The room we had was spacious, with huge bed, and very comfortable.. The bathroom too is big and we had three balconies.2 small and bigger one where you can find the fridge and its also a place where you can hang and dry your clothes especially after you had a swimming trip. You don't even to bring an adapter if you need one because they have it provided in the room. The breakfast was very good with freshly squeezed orange juice that we love and they have different options you can choose. You can bothe enjoy breakfast downstairs or at the rooftop. During our last day, we checked out 11 am but our flight was still at 7:45pm and we had a chat with Tony and it was nice of him to say that when we come back to get our luggage that we can even freshen up at the lounge at the rooftop, take a shower ,have some coffee before we leave. We highly recommend to stay in this sweet beautiful boutique hotel.Guest review byDonna MayNorway
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.9Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 72 reviewsCan't say enough good things about Azure Apartment and Simon, the host. The place is immaculate, pristine even. We've stayed in apartments all over the U. S. and Europe, and we've never encountered one as beautiful as this one. Simon has thought of everything to make staying there comfortable. Everything is modern and bright. It all looks new, actually. The kitchen has everything one might need for cooking and eating, and we were pleasantly surprised to find basic food items provided, such as a variety of fruit, bread, butter, eggs, milk, etc. - even a bottle of wine on ice. The living room has a nice TV, with streaming channels, an excellent stereo, and a variety of books, DVDs, and games. The bedrooms are large and the beds comfortable, with a good supply of towels and extra pillows and blankets. The bathroom is big and bright, with a great tub and shower. There is ample storage throughout the apartment, and ever room had color-changing mood lighting. The location is great - convenient to catch the ferry and bus transportation. There is a basic grocery store nearby - about a 15-minute walk. Communication with Simon was easy, and he always responds in a timely manner. All in all, I highly recommend Azure Apartment and will gladly stay again when we return to Malta.Guest review byKurtUnited States
- From $537.07 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 276 reviewsWe had a harbor view room, which was a fantastic split level size and extremely comfortable, with great views of the harbour. The rooftop pool also had great views. Staff were attentive and friendly and the breakfasts had lots of choice. A bonus was the water taxi to Valletta was a few minutes from the from of the hotel on the harbour.Guest review byAlexUnited Kingdom

Cospicua - being one of the 3 cities - was very quaint and generally quiet. Very easy to walk around yet convenient to explore other parts of Malta with good bus links and the ferry to Valletta. It also had a good selection of cafes and restaurants. Generally a very nice atmosphere and I would certainly consider staying here again.Guest review byMaryUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Much of Malta can be crowded and noisy.
Much of Malta can be crowded and noisy. Birgu is quiet in terms of people but still has all the old streets and architecture and restaurants to enjoy. More relaxing, with so much centred on the harbour. The ferry to Valletta goes every half an hour so it is still well connected.Guest review byJulianAustria - 10.0
Great base for exploring the three cities and Valletta,...
Great base for exploring the three cities and Valletta, Senglea was more relaxing than a stay in Valletta but had great transport links to and from Valletta, with Senglea being one of the three cities the other two were adjoined and therefore accessible either on foot or by taxi. There was a good variety of restaurants and all very reasonably priced, we never had a bad meal during our stay. Places we ate at and would recommend were Aroy-d-Fusion, Il-Pirata, Il-Hnejja and Novita,Guest review byBill 33United Kingdom - 10.0
We loved Vittoriosa - or Bergu, to give it its local name.
We loved Vittoriosa - or Bergu, to give it its local name. It's full of history, the local people are incredibly friendly, and it's a great place from which to explore the rest of the island. We didn't have a car - Vittoriosa has a lot of very narrow cobbled streets, not car-friendly - a plus as far as we were concerned! If you're interested in Malta's history, stay here.Guest review byCarolineUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We loved staying here, this was our 5th time in Malta and for us Cospicua ticked many, many boxes. We were a ten minute downhill walk to the port, so access to Valetta etc was easy. Views of the harbour and forts were breathtaking and the sunsetting made the place very dreamy. Parking was free and easy. No shops near our apartment/house. We found the locals very nice - even the ones that were not serving to selling to us. Some steps are slippery and uneven and although it adds to the charm we wouldn't suggest anyone who has trouble keeping their balance come alone. There are hills to climb and lots of stairs.Guest review bySTEVE & LESLEYUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The only location to consider staying in the Three Cities...
The only location to consider staying in the Three Cities area is Birgu. A small place with quaint streets and lovely architecture. No 2 bus takes you to Valletta or you can walk just along the waterside to the ferry. A number of places to eat in the village square or along the waterfront make Birgu a great relaxing destination or base to visit Malta. Had a fabulous tasty meal at BeBirgu in their pretty courtyard. The only thng we would avoid if visiting Birgu again would be to stay at 12-16 Pacifiku Scicluna. Not a good accommodation (see reviews for room 2). Please avoid it.Guest review byLiliyj143United Kingdom - 10.0

I just returned from a 17 days stay in this house, and I was really lucky with this find. You cannot find a better location in or around Valletta. The entire Vittoriosa is oozing with charm, with its narrow tiled streets just below the massive St. Angelo fortress at the end of the peninsula. I was all around the different parts of Valletta, and nothing beats Vittoriosa. It reminded me a bit of the old Jerusalem.Guest review byViggoDenmark - 10.0

You are a short walk via steps or road from the harbour, Fort, Museums, good cafes and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the Date Art cafe and Enchante restaurant. There is easy access to Valletta via ferry. A great base for sight seeing which is quieter than Valletta.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Fantastic architecture and much quieter than Valetta which is easily reached by bus or ferry. You had to go to Valetta to get anywhere else on the island. Lovely square and friendly people. Loads to do and see in BirguGuest review byKarinUnited Kingdom
