The simple answer is everything, we loved everything! From the staff to the food and location. We fell in love with Dhigurah, the beach is amazing, plenty of space for you to have peace to yourself, to snorkel at the beach is a plus. We specifically wanted to thank all the staff, the smile on their faces is something we will never forget. The 2 ladies from the reception, they are so lovely, such nice people to chat with. We want to say a special thanks for our guide in our private trip, the care with us especially with our son. Thank you so much, we will never forget everything we saw!

We stayed for 7 nights with all meals included. Food, friendly and helpful staff Many thanks to Shaheen, Fairuz, the chef, Abdullah and Ahmed for their kindness. Shaheen, the manager, was very helpful in giving us tips for exploring the island. Fairuz also helped us to discover the Maldivian culture, to talk about football and other rich and constructive conversations. The food was very delicious thanks to the chef and Fairuz. The room is clean, the bathroom is large and clean.

Our stay at Chillax Thoddoo was excellent. The owner of the guesthouse, Musa, arranged for us to be transferred from Male to the island and to the guesthouse. We were greeted with coconut drinks. The guesthouse is very cozy, the room was cleaned every day, there was hot water, and the food was simple but nutritious and delicious. We would like to express our gratitude to Musa and his staff for their assistance and advice, as well as for organizing our birthday party in the room. We were very pleased and will definitely return.

Areef was super helpful with everything and he made sure everything was perfect. Rooms and everything looked exactly like in the photos and everything is in good condition including the shower AC and everything else. I only wanted to eat passionfruit and watermelon in the mornings because I went diving everyday early in the morning and had to leave around 6.50. I extended my stay here by 2 more nights and I would definitely recommend going here, even though it's not the cheapest on the island, you will get the quality in return.

This hotel felt like a home away from home. The guesthouse had a relaxing atmosphere The staff were fantastic. Great attitude. Helpful and always available. The bed was super comfy. Room is very clean. Tea and coffee available 24 hours. Beautiful beach is walking distance(5-10 min walk)Both check-in and check-out ( transfer from/to airport by boat) were professionally handled and easy. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you !

    Amazing people, they add meaning of service to customer service. Each and every employee deserves kudos, always smile on face, wishing good morning or evening. They made our trip awesone. From cleaner to chef to bar tender to reception to spa, everything is so great! Would give them more than 5 star, if we could. We had 2 kids with us, as well. They treated them so well, we are very impressed. Personalized care to perfection. So attentive, attention to detail! From welcome with drums, massages, drinks, they made the stay so perfect! We will definitely go again! I will be definitely forgetting some names, but doing my best. Moti made such fun shapes with towels for kids, madectheir day, cleaned the room, twice daily. Amila, Supun, Samith were amazing bar tenders, memirized ours n kids drinks, always there to offer smile n fun drinks. Swastika, Imam, Nazeer and many more serving all meals, perfectly attentive to all needs during meals. Chanaka and Gaani helped us at reservations for undersea restaurant at Conrad. Took care of all details. Ghaani was also recreation team member, took care of all fun activities, island hopping, snokeling, feeding fishes, he is so fun and perfect for his job. He especually made our son feel special and engaged. Special shoutout to Indian food chef Ganesh, made everything so perfect- north and south Indian dishes. We relished every meal he made fresh. Amazing food and presentation. Spa manager Ayuu and her team was so special as well. We did couples cupid package- steam dpa, full body massage, n facials- the best we received, ever! Definitely try them n you will be so pleased. Lastly, Sydney and John at reception were so helpful and took care of even the smallest of needs. Overall, we are a fan, and couldnt say enough nice things about this place. 5 star stay with personalized apptoach, not like big hotels where you are just a number. Definitely recommend :)

    The Real Paradise We will hardly be able to choose the right words to describe the great pleasure of the moments experienced in this exclusive resort. Starting from our arrival at Male airport - everything was so well organized and everyone was so attentive and polite, we were treated as if we were very special guests. Sincere thanks to the entire team of the resort, every single one of them. You were all truly fantastic, exceptional professionals, the best in the world and we are not exaggerating what we are saying, we have traveled the world, but we have never had such a great service before. You all carry extraordinary hearts and souls, none of your smiles were fake, each of you never failed to smile and greet us at least once if not several times a day. You guys are amazing, thank you for caring and being who you are. Regarding the resort and the nature around it, what can we say, paradise also exists on earth. Special greetings to our friend Jayadeva who took such good care of the cleanliness of our vila pool, to Shakir who every morning and evening took care of our comfort during breakfast and dinner, and the kind and ever smiling lady who was greeting us at the entrance of the restaurant (sorry we do not know her name). Thank you to the restaurant manager Mohamed Rasheed and the receptionist Imma who were exceptional professionals. Also great thank you to the front desk manager who gave us one of the best villas and arranged the nice set up for our Anniversary and never stopped asking us, if he can do anything else to make our stay even more pleasant and memorable, amazing professional. The cleanliness in our phenomenal villa 83 was impeccable, thank you to the person who was responsible for this. You really made us feel at home.     This was our second time visiting Veligandu, and it still exceeded all of our expectations!! The resort is relaxing, quiet, and luxurious!! We love walking through the lush garden pathways leading to the restaurant . The house reef has a huge variety of reef fish as well as turtles, reef sharks, and rays. Snorkelling was very relaxing! We stayed in the sunrise water Villa this time and this suits us best as we could then sit on the back deck over the water in the shade in the afternoon. The sunrises were beautiful! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you to our host Shaalee for looking after us so well and accommodating all of our requests. Dhonveli Restaurant has a fantastic buffet selection catering for dietary needs and various cuisine. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable. Thank you to chef Suresh for cooking me the perfect eggs every morning! A special thank you to Shayan who was very thoughtful, attentive, and always making sure we were comfortable. We loved our daily chats with you! Thank you, Veligandu. We felt very special and spoilt and look forward to returning one day :)

    We had a wonderful stay at Centara! Traveling as a family with a young child and a senior (my mom), each of us found something to enjoy and relax with at the resort. One of the highlights was the resort’s very own house reef—stunning views, vibrant marine life, including fish, turtles, and even sharks! What truly made our experience special was the exceptional team at the Reef Restaurant. A heartfelt thank you to: • Jasim • Kal • Habib • Vivek • Joe (from diving center) • Salmaan (front desk) • Chingiz Another point and IMPORTANT, the housekeeping team. They cleaned the room twice in a day, which made us feel always fresh. Diving center guys, helpful and just amazing. Especially the special one is Mei (bird) Each of them was incredibly friendly, respectful, and committed to delivering top-notch service. Their warmth and professionalism truly elevated our stay. Thank you for making our trip so memorable! From Reception team all were friendly too, thanks to Duty manager (forgot her name) were super professional and flexible. Feel sad to leave the resort.

I've been highlighting professionalism and dedicated approach of the whole Team in my previous review and have nothing to add. Just huge thank you to every single staff member for making another holiday remarkable for us - this place remains an amazing combination of an admirable nature with a caring service provided. You can just relax and enjoy your moments there (but don't forget your fins and snorkel if you're going into the ocean). We're also very happy to see how house reef regenerates - sooo many new growing corals and fish around and we'll definitely be back next year to check out on the progress :) Highly recommend!

    The team at Lily was exceptional. We arrived and they just let us feel straight at home. Jaleel always looked after us at Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner and made sure that we didn’t miss anything and since we were travelling with an infant (8 months) everybody made sure that our little one had the best time, plus the head chef prepared meals for him according to our wishes. As it’s an all inclusive resort the foods and drinks were free and the quality of e.g. the drinks was very good and not as you might expect of lower quality. Plus the house reef was super nice for snorkeling and I even did my first test dive. All in all a perfect vacation and we‘ll definitely come back

    I searched many times before traveling to maldives because it was the first time to travel there and i was not expecting that i will enjoy a lot there, enjoyed a lot at the resort and really it’s something exceptionally and amazing island we have a good days there and Vani coffee shop good service rooms is so clean the food is excellent with a lot of variety and tasty special thanks to (Naahy) for her cooperation and her great support, special thanks to housekeeping (Ahmed )and to the fantastic saxophone player (Migo) who made our nights so special ..we will back again so soon Thanks a lot

    The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The front staff assisted us schedule a seaplane for our departure, and coordinated with the provider to ensure we arrived to the airport on time, and that we maximized our stay at the resort without worrying about transportation or long wait at the airport. The restaurant and bar staff that we interacted with were very friendly and professional too. They offered us top notch service, made us feel welcome, and our stay memorable. We hope to visit again next year.

    Dhigurah is a beautiful island with a long sandy beach, without sunbeds and umbrellas, the palm trees lining the island will provide you with sufficient shade. At the end of the island there is a sandbank, which can be reached by walking, cycling or scooter through the tropical forest. There are several shops with groceries, souvenirs and restaurants on the island. There is a lot of accommodation in different places on the island with quality services. The local people are smiling and friendly. There is a hospital, a police station, the Maldivian office and mosques on the island. Waste from the island is taken to the forest, where it is burned in the afternoon, we only felt the smoke from the waste when there was a strong wind. You can get to the island from the airport by speedboat, the journey takes about two hours, if you suffer from nausea, I recommend taking anti-nausea medicine, you will definitely need it when the waves are bigger. There is a coral reef around the island, you can see many colorful fish, we were lucky to see a turtle and a small shark. There are resorts on the surrounding atolls, to which seaplanes fly daily. What we didn't like on the island is the massive construction of new accommodation facilities, I'm afraid that in a short time, there will be more tourists on the island than locals and the island will lose its authenticity and beauty.

    An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

    I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. There's a lot of nice restaurants and there was no day I felt bored.

    We enjoyed 7 days on the island. The rooms are very clean. The food is AMAZING! Everyone from staff are kind. The resort is sustainable, they try very hard to recycle and repurpose almost everything which is really nice. All inclusive is the smarter choice, trust me😄 The snorkeling is really fun! The whole island stands on coral reef and there is a lot to see! Maybe bring your own equipment, although you can rent. I don’t recommend the visit to the local island, nothing to see there We absolutely recommend

    Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling. The reef is very far out and at times the current was very strong. Prices for trips to see the whale sharks were quite expensive at 75 USD. And there were tons of other boats at the same spots - very zoo-like. Bikini beach, the only beach you can swim at in only your bathing suit is fairly shallow and windy. The better beach beside it requires you to be clothed. However, the local people are super nice and helpful.

    It was not my first time in Maldives and my experience there was disappointing compared to my previous trips in other resorts. The quality of service is poor and it’s a shame because the resort is lovely and the staff are nice but lack professionalism.

    You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than that would have to be someone who loves water sports as these are the main activities in this country, anyways. Bring a mosquito or any insect repellent, you will need these after a stroll on the shores or anywhere there are plants. Also have an anti-nausea pill if you are the seasick type. Taxis have a fixed price for each location, check that out. Alcohol in the resorts is expensive but then again that's all you got. Best to pay all meals or include dinner in your package as there are almost no restaurants outside, depending on the island, and if you find one it's either a chips or coffee spots.

    A Wonderful Beach Holiday. Necessary structure: shops and cafes are available. The ability to pay with a bank card, as well as in cash (USD, MVR). Good exchange rate in all places. I was pleased with both Mathiveri and Mathiveri Finholu: the beaches are clean, the sand does not burn your feet, and there is a comfortable "coolness" in the shade of the trees.

    Feridhoo is an island inhabited by locals. They are Muslims, so respect them and wear decent clothes when walking through the village. The island has 2 restaurants with good food and fair prices, one dive base (Noohiri) and one small shop next to Shifa Lodge. We came for diving and found an abundant maritime life. There are 2 beach areas, one at the east side with the best snorkeling ground, the other at north/west side with berths for relaxing.
