- From $1,593.31 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 665 reviewsHonestly exceeded our expectations. First of all island itself is very very pretty, blue water pristine white sandy beaches. Picture perfect. You can sense the island is well managed, cleaned and taken care of. Our beach villa with pool (No 254) was absolute stunning, clean villa, comfy bed, huge ass TV for late night movie sessions. My favorite part was outdoors bathroom with backyard shower. Room service is done 2 times a day and was done so professionally, shout out to Mr Ishrafeel for keeping it extremely tidy whenever we came back. All that aside what really sets apart this resort and all the hotels I have been in my entire life, are the staff. Each one of them are so incredibly sweet and caring. Our host Miss Gehani was amazing, she looked after us at every step of our stay, checking up on us, making our stay so so wonderful. I wanna give a special shout out to the chefs as well at the buffet for being super friendly and making us amazing grilled dishes and amazing breakfast - Mr Ibrahim, Mr Nihar, Mr Kalam, Mr Majeed. Oh and of course the 2 waiters who served us were awesome as well Mr Krishna, Mr Ramesh and Mr Alim (at the beach bar) thank you so much for being amazing servers. Mr Alim as well for serving us amazing coconut water. While on the topic of food, I'd say the head chefs did quite a good job on creating a wonderful menu for buffer dinner and breakfast. Each day something different and tasty. Finally I wanna shout out to the water sports team and parasaling team for assisting us and making us feel safe. And finally shout out to our bell boy Mr Kawser2 for giving us a tour of the island. Overall best 7 days of our lives.Guest review byIrfanSaudi Arabia
- From $1,055.21 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 53 reviewsvisiting the Maldives is a dream for anyone and I knew that the ayada maldives resort would go beyond that dream. Since I made the reservation a year ago and started contacting the hotel, I noticed the difference. Highly qualified staff to provide our adventure with a unique experience. From our departure point to the island it took exactly 36 hours … in Male we had a completely pleasant reception by the Ayada team who took us to the airport lounge, carried our bags and boarded us to the island. Upon disembarking, another big surprise was waiting for us to take us by boat to our final destination, arriving there, a warm welcome and Iqu, our assistant for a week, was waiting for us. Nothing could have been more perfect. Our villa inside the ocean and overlooking the sunset was perfect, the crystal clear water invited us every day for a swim. The wonderful restaurants, the employees always with a smile and ready for a good morning, good afternoon, good night. It was worth every hour until we got here … worth every penny invested. We chose the hotel because we wanted the island further away from Male … our choice was the best possible !! Ayada surprised us … she welcomed us and conquered us … she deserves all the accolades of the best hotel in the Maldives in all aspects !!! thank you for the wonderful week you have given us. Thank you Lizah for your attention, thank you Iqu … it was a pleasure meeting you. Thank you Maldives !!!Guest review byGilberUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 41 reviewsExcellent hotel for families with children. A large area overgrown with jungle, the villas on the beach where we stayed are located at a great distance from each other, providing privacy. Delicious and varied food, large and well-made common areas of the hotel (restaurants, shops, diving center etc, I would like to separately mention the "ice-cream bar" with a huge selection of their own delicious ice cream) a stunningly beautiful reef for diving and snorkeling. Very attentive friendly and polite staff - I would especially like to highlight and thank our butler Ainur - who made our stay very rich, interesting and carefree.Guest review byAlexandrKazakhstan
- From $3,794.97 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 104 reviewsExcellent and spacious overwater villa, stuffed with everything imaginable for comfort, fresh fruits every day, snacks. Very private. Every staff member is extremely courteous, friendly and professional. We aways felt welcome and cared for. Our host Samih was always responsive and proactive, he even called me when there was enough wind to do kitesurfing as I'm into it. I loved the gym and SPA facilities. We ate the most delicious food served in the restaurants. One & Only brand will be associated with high class and luxury for us from now on.Guest review byPavelUnited Arab Emirates
- From $860 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 1,108 reviewsThe breakfast and other meals at the resort were absolutely superb—my family and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Each day brought a fresh and delightful variety of menu choices that kept our dining experience exciting and memorable. They upgraded and provided two separate villas to us. The resort’s location, about 45 minutes away from the airport, added to the charm of our trip. The speedboat ride was an experience in itself, especially on our return journey, which became even more thrilling as we navigated through the aftermath of a thunderstorm.Guest review byM WasimPakistan
- From $892.23 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 1,187 reviewsWe had an unforgettable stay at Kandima Maldives. The service was excellent and the island was absolutely beautiful. Our villa was spacious, clean, and right by the gorgeous white-sand beach with crystal-clear water. Breakfasts were fresh and had a great variety, and dinners were delicious with beautiful settings. Our boys loved the kids’ club — it was fun, safe, and gave them lots to do while we relaxed. The resort had the perfect mix of activities and relaxation. We would love to come back!Guest review byFabiolaIceland
- From $1,184.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 145 reviewsOur villa was spacious, clean and well equipped. We had amazing views and our own Villa host to handle every request we could have - from restaurant reservations to activities or anything we could think of. Staff was excellent and efficient across the whole resort. Despite being in May, we had plenty of sunshine and the quick rain showers we had only served as a short pause from the sun. This place is amazing, definitely recommend it!Guest review byCarlosFrance
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 231 reviewsI checked so many hotels before going to Maldives and most of them were quiet far and overpriced. Transfer from airport cost more than the actual price you pay for one night stay. But Adaaran Club Rannalhi was the only hotel I came across with reasonable price for transferring from airport to the hotel. Only cost me 160 dollars by ferry both ways.Guest review byFathima HaiqaSri Lanka

I only stayed overnight in Male and, in general, it was enough. Simply passing though to get my flight home. As expected the city is noisy, busy and hectic. Wow the contrast from the laid-back, easygoing atol where I was based for the holiday. However, I still quite enjoyed it. The guy from the diving company arranged a tour guide for me whose policy was that I pay him what I thought his time was worth. I got to experience the traffic from a scooter (quite scary to begin with) was taken to the market and given lots of free samples of local foods to try and had visits to all the important sites in three brilliant hours. He also introduced me to a wonderful restaurant - The Seagull Cafe- where I visited another twice before leaving the food and the coffee were so good.Guest review byJamesUnited Kingdom - 10.0

One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.Guest review byÁkosHungary - 10.0

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.Guest review byNigelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!Guest review byInaNorway - 10.0

The people that work there in the island are very genuine and polite and helpful, always smiling. They make your time there very pleasant. Don’t forget to tip them. I absolutely would return!
I absolutely would return! After the fact I was told this was a Russian resort but we interacted with a variety of guests during our visit. Our neighbors were guests 20 years ago and returned with two children. They were having an absolute ball. I loved the swim up bar at the pool - and the fact it was at the opposite end (along with a divider) from the children's area. Super attentive and friendly staff, great meals, I didn't tire of the options at the buffet. The a la carte restaurant was lovely too. We did the all inclusive and it was definitely worth it. Great chill vibe and overall a fun place to relax and play.Guest review byHollie - 10.0
We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!Guest review byClannyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life.
The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life. And mind you, I have visited many seas in many countries! For food, I recommend the restaurant at the Dhiguveli hotel and the Teapot restaurant. Getting around the island is very easy; you can reach any place quickly on foot. Don't miss going to the sandbank at one of the ends of the island.Guest review byAmauryBrazil - 10.0

An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.Guest review byMaureenCanada
