I really like everything! The hotel is very clean. My room was very clean and it felt very new. I guess it is newly built hotel. There is restaurant on the ground floor. It is too rated on google maps and I can tell for sure it is. Especially given the fact that lot of guests from other hotels come to have a meal there. I found the buffet very basic which for me was fine. However also I ordered a lot from the menu. Prices are good and even they have variety of Indian meals. Which I didn’t eat except of paratha. I just see on some of the reviews some customers complaint sometime because there is lack of Indian food. Not the case here. Generally it is a very very small island. I have been already two time before in different locations. This is so far the smallest island I have ever been. The weather was 50/50 sunshine and rain, it didn’t make my impression of the island bad because I found beauty in the rain. I live in the dessert so I missed rain. There is mini bar, kettle, tea/coffee, amenities in WC on the room. They check your room 2 times a day for water replenishment and cleaning. Like I said it was very cost and clean. Worth the money.

The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing - right on a fabulous beach. The building is new, very nice designed and everything is in perfect conditions. At the 8th floor there is a pool which provides a perfect view of Paradise and also a bar. Second bar is located on the beach and they both serve most delicious drinks! Hotel’s restaurant Aanu is 2 steps away from the hotel. Apart from the location, the conditions - what makes your stay memorable is the staff which is absolutely fantastic - from reception to bars, restaurant, breakfast, team responsible of excursions - everybody is very friendly and super nice! Thank you all for making our stay perfect!

I stayed here for 9 nights in total in Feb/March 2025. I loved my stay a lot! It was very comfortable and clean. There is a small kitchen that you can make coffee or tea and cut fruits. Very close to the bikini beach as well. The receptionist, Hari was the best host and he could help me anything I needed and he’s a super friendly guy so I also enjoyed talking with him. Thank you so much!

Quiet and peaceful. The place has stunning view, and the beach is swimmable and clean. It has limited rooms, thus no crowd at all compared to other hotel in the island. Other hotels are noisy and crowded. The Sunset Villa is a jackpot to us. Worth the money. Though the place is small it has everything we need. They also give unlimited water for drink.

EVERYTHING. The stuff is extremely polite and friendly, helped us a lot with every question. We enjoyed the stay. The rooms are simple but very very clean. The ISLAND IS GORGEOUS. We were choosing it among all and it is one of the rarest that has all plusses together: long sand bank, beautiful snorkeling, diving with the whale sharks (we saw them) and with mantas (we were lack of time to do both). The island has some constructions, but it doesn't bother much). To reach the island was easy coz everything was very organized. So, we are very happy with our choice. Went after this to the Resort (Centara Ras Fushi), was also good. The best is to combine local island and resort to fulfill the whole trip with great and various emotions. For Dhigura island I would make 3 days (we had only 2) and for resort 3 would be also enough.

    Honestly exceeded our expectations. First of all island itself is very very pretty, blue water pristine white sandy beaches. Picture perfect. You can sense the island is well managed, cleaned and taken care of. Our beach villa with pool (No 254) was absolute stunning, clean villa, comfy bed, huge ass TV for late night movie sessions. My favorite part was outdoors bathroom with backyard shower. Room service is done 2 times a day and was done so professionally, shout out to Mr Ishrafeel for keeping it extremely tidy whenever we came back. All that aside what really sets apart this resort and all the hotels I have been in my entire life, are the staff. Each one of them are so incredibly sweet and caring. Our host Miss Gehani was amazing, she looked after us at every step of our stay, checking up on us, making our stay so so wonderful. I wanna give a special shout out to the chefs as well at the buffet for being super friendly and making us amazing grilled dishes and amazing breakfast - Mr Ibrahim, Mr Nihar, Mr Kalam, Mr Majeed. Oh and of course the 2 waiters who served us were awesome as well Mr Krishna, Mr Ramesh and Mr Alim (at the beach bar) thank you so much for being amazing servers. Mr Alim as well for serving us amazing coconut water. While on the topic of food, I'd say the head chefs did quite a good job on creating a wonderful menu for buffer dinner and breakfast. Each day something different and tasty. Finally I wanna shout out to the water sports team and parasaling team for assisting us and making us feel safe. And finally shout out to our bell boy Mr Kawser2 for giving us a tour of the island. Overall best 7 days of our lives.

    visiting the Maldives is a dream for anyone and I knew that the ayada maldives resort would go beyond that dream. Since I made the reservation a year ago and started contacting the hotel, I noticed the difference. Highly qualified staff to provide our adventure with a unique experience. From our departure point to the island it took exactly 36 hours … in Male we had a completely pleasant reception by the Ayada team who took us to the airport lounge, carried our bags and boarded us to the island. Upon disembarking, another big surprise was waiting for us to take us by boat to our final destination, arriving there, a warm welcome and Iqu, our assistant for a week, was waiting for us. Nothing could have been more perfect. Our villa inside the ocean and overlooking the sunset was perfect, the crystal clear water invited us every day for a swim. The wonderful restaurants, the employees always with a smile and ready for a good morning, good afternoon, good night. It was worth every hour until we got here … worth every penny invested. We chose the hotel because we wanted the island further away from Male … ​​our choice was the best possible !! Ayada surprised us … she welcomed us and conquered us … she deserves all the accolades of the best hotel in the Maldives in all aspects !!! thank you for the wonderful week you have given us.     I used to stay in dream island for 3 night villa 64x Resort facilities was superb, beach are calm even its rain. Room are nice (i use to stay 6xx villa) , Malafaiyy chef most friendly, chef Pradeep omelette section always take care of me, chef Muzan fruit counter always give nice greeting. Also restaurant envirorment dine-in area are oustanding. Definately, my next vacation i will choose dream island for stay. I used to order floating breakfast its delivery on time Housekeeping will make sure that you stay with most convince and happily. I like to sit and spend evening time at Dhoni bar best bar in Olhuveli. Also i took late lunch from Island Pizza, Chef Mustak will make sure that you got pizza as your type what you are looking for. :) (any special request in a la carte place i do prefer to communicate with chef as your perference, chef will serve best for you.) You will never get bored in this place, i wish i could stay longer, it never feel enough for here. I used to travelling few resort in Maldives, but not feel like what i feel in Sun Siyam Olhuveli.

    I only stayed overnight in Male and, in general, it was enough. Simply passing though to get my flight home. As expected the city is noisy, busy and hectic. Wow the contrast from the laid-back, easygoing atol where I was based for the holiday. However, I still quite enjoyed it. The guy from the diving company arranged a tour guide for me whose policy was that I pay him what I thought his time was worth. I got to experience the traffic from a scooter (quite scary to begin with) was taken to the market and given lots of free samples of local foods to try and had visits to all the important sites in three brilliant hours. He also introduced me to a wonderful restaurant - The Seagull Cafe- where I visited another twice before leaving the food and the coffee were so good.

    Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

    One of the most beautiful places in the world.

    One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.

    Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

    I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

    We liked almost everything.

    We liked almost everything. Our vacation was relaxing and beautiful. The beach was perfect, with soft almost white sand and warm, clear blue water. The bungalow was was really cozy with sun set view. Snorkeling we saw sharks, turtles, so many amazing small fishes. And they were almost near our place. We had wonderful neighbors and made new friendships.

    The people that work there in the island are very genuine...

    The people that work there in the island are very genuine and polite and helpful, always smiling. They make your time there very pleasant. Don’t forget to tip them. Jr and Anastasia from the club house coordinators are amazing and multi talented individuals. Don’t miss their daily sport activities by the pool.

    An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

    Dhigurah is a beautiful island with a long sandy beach, without sunbeds and umbrellas, the palm trees lining the island will provide you with sufficient shade. At the end of the island there is a sandbank, which can be reached by walking, cycling or scooter through the tropical forest. There are several shops with groceries, souvenirs and restaurants on the island. There is a lot of accommodation in different places on the island with quality services. The local people are smiling and friendly. There is a hospital, a police station, the Maldivian office and mosques on the island. Waste from the island is taken to the forest, where it is burned in the afternoon, we only felt the smoke from the waste when there was a strong wind. You can get to the island from the airport by speedboat, the journey takes about two hours, if you suffer from nausea, I recommend taking anti-nausea medicine, you will definitely need it when the waves are bigger. There is a coral reef around the island, you can see many colorful fish, we were lucky to see a turtle and a small shark. There are resorts on the surrounding atolls, to which seaplanes fly daily. What we didn't like on the island is the massive construction of new accommodation facilities, I'm afraid that in a short time, there will be more tourists on the island than locals and the island will lose its authenticity and beauty.
