We appreciated it a lot for cooking some vegan food for us outside the standard Menu. The manager of the hotel was absolutely nice and helpful with all the information - she was always in the front row to help us.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted by the friendly and attentive staff who made us feel like VIPs throughout our entire stay.
The customer service at this hotel is truly exceptional. When inclement weather prevented us from visiting the nearby islands on our scheduled day, the staff went above and beyond to make alternative arrangements. They quickly secured a hotel just a short five-minute drive from the airport and promptly rescheduled our flights when we expressed concerns about the revised departure time. . Their thoughtfulness and efficiency in handling the situation were truly commendable.
The way the staff empathized with our disappointment at losing a day on the island soothes our disappointed hearts! They wasted no time in offering us an upgrade and special perks to compensate for the unforeseen circumstances. Their genuine concern and effort to make things right instantly turned our disappointment into excitement.
Once we arrived on the island, we were greeted by a team of enthusiastic staff members who created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Their beaming smiles and genuine hospitality added an extra layer of joy to our vacation. It was evident that they genuinely cared about ensuring we had a memorable and enjoyable time.
Throughout our stay, our assigned gem, Hamzath, proved to be a true gem indeed. He took great care of us, ensuring our every need was met. Hamzath went above and beyond to curate unforgettable dining experiences for us, recommending the finest restaurants and providing personalized attention. It was clear that he took immense pride in his work and genuinely wanted us to have the best possible experience.
The natural beauty of the island was simply breathtaking. The crystal-clear waters and vibrant colors of the surrounding ocean were truly mesmerizing. We were thrilled to discover that we could easily indulge in snorkeling right from our room.

visiting the Maldives is a dream for anyone and I knew that the ayada maldives resort would go beyond that dream. Since I made the reservation a year ago and started contacting the hotel, I noticed the difference. Highly qualified staff to provide our adventure with a unique experience. From our departure point to the island it took exactly 36 hours … in Male we had a completely pleasant reception by the Ayada team who took us to the airport lounge, carried our bags and boarded us to the island. Upon disembarking, another big surprise was waiting for us to take us by boat to our final destination, arriving there, a warm welcome and Iqu, our assistant for a week, was waiting for us. Nothing could have been more perfect. Our villa inside the ocean and overlooking the sunset was perfect, the crystal clear water invited us every day for a swim. The wonderful restaurants, the employees always with a smile and ready for a good morning, good afternoon, good night. It was worth every hour until we got here … worth every penny invested. We chose the hotel because we wanted the island further away from Male … our choice was the best possible !! Ayada surprised us … she welcomed us and conquered us … she deserves all the accolades of the best hotel in the Maldives in all aspects !!! thank you for the wonderful week you have given us. The staff are really great and try everything to make the stay prefect, they are professional and always smiling and willing to help.
The aqua villa is really beautiful, you have the nicest views even from your bathroom. You feel in the middle of the ocean and you see so many multicolored fish within meters from the villa. We have even saw a sea turtle and baby sharks from the villa. It is really private, you feel like you are the only one in there.
The food is delicious, it is nice that there are several restaurants and different cuisine themes per night. you are always immerced with a breach view under the palm trees.
The accompaniment of the Kandima team that starts in Malé airport all along until you leave Maldives is impressive. At each step of the way someone is waiting for you with a Kandima sign, ready to make your experience worryless, we really appreciated it.
I would definetely recommend Kandima as a great resort for a gateway, whether you are a couple or a family with toddlers.
Honeymoon package is really nice and we enjoyed every bit of it

Maricel at the souvenir shop was truly outstanding—warm, attentive, and proactive, she helped us find the perfect keepsakes with genuine care and thoughtful service. Eugene, our Villa Host, was simply the best. Always present yet never intrusive, he ensured everything flowed smoothly, from small comforts to special requests.
But the true highlight of our trip was the dive experience with Mo. He brought the ocean to life, guiding us through exhilarating encounters with manta rays and reef sharks, and even helping us upgrade our PADI licenses to adventure dives. His passion, expertise, and calm presence underwater made it a memory we’ll carry forever.

We love this island, the beaches are clean, water is exactly like in the adds. The food is amazing, villas are cleaned 2 times a day. The restaurants and the bar are always making small events. They have a big selection of sport activities like, table tennis, bedminton, pool, tennis, basketball, squash, volleyball and a large variety of watersports as well.
I have no words for the staff, beautiful people always with a smile on their face.
Naveen organized us a "never to forget" dinner, over the ocean at the sunset and became our friend for life.
Cynthia, our host made us to feel special and took care of us in the best way possible.
Dilan from Al Tramonto restaurant provided proffesional service every time we ate there.
Aman, Eyman and Mohammed are the best, warm, smiling and never letting you down.
All in all, we were for the third time on this resort and we are already looking for the next vacation here.

Location was excellent with breathtaking views from the whole Island and specially our water villa.
Food and staff were wonderful ( A wide variety of food options for Asians and Europeans alike)
We were upgraded to a better room immediately upon our arrival entirety of our stay, special shout out to Dwan for taking good care of us.
All the chef's and staff at the Southern Star Restaurant special shout out to Chef Samiran and Amith and Chef's at the action station for making us delicious food and making us at home.
The activities shall be planned out days in advance as weather can play spoilsport in your planned activities. So make sure to book them on 1st day of arrival so even if it is rescheduled you are able to do them.

The place was amazing. Such a beautiful island. We enjoyed every bit of it. They have almost 7 restaurants with variety of cuisines. Food is a bit pricey but very tasty and service is really good.
More than anything the staff at this place provides the excellent customer service. I would say this resort has the best customer service compared all other places i have stayed. Glad we choose this resort. An ideal place to enjoy and relax as couple.
They have so many games which are just free, including free kayaking. They also have free photoshoot. Do not miss the snorkeling.
Once again kudos to the staff there. Smiling faces with best customer service mindset.

The food was absolutely delicious, and a special thanks to Chef KRISNA for his excellent preparations and the personal touch he added to our dining experience. I checked so many hotels before going to Maldives and most of them were quiet far and overpriced. Transfer from airport cost more than the actual price you pay for one night stay. But Adaaran Club Rannalhi was the only hotel I came across with reasonable price for transferring from airport to the hotel. Only cost me 160 dollars by ferry both ways.

Island itself, it is truly beautiful, staff hospitality, food selection and quality (they mix great cocktails as well), facilities and accomodation layout, Uthuru bar is magnificient (go there for amazing sunsets), resort is clearly very well managed, resort in general is not overcrowded (very important), Duniye overwater spa - amazing.

I stayed in Male for one night due to my flight home being...
I stayed in Male for one night due to my flight home being early the next morning. It was an experience to see the capital city, but if I could have stayed on the resort longer I would have preferred. Male is very hectic and quite dirty as a city. I did enjoy a good meal, which made the experience worth it. The hotel where I stayed was also central and provided excellent customer service (Beehive Premier). The food was from Seahouse.

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced.
One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life.
The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life. And mind you, I have visited many seas in many countries! For food, I recommend the restaurant at the Dhiguveli hotel and the Teapot restaurant. Getting around the island is very easy; you can reach any place quickly on foot. Don't miss going to the sandbank at one of the ends of the island.

I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. There's a lot of nice restaurants and there was no day I felt bored.

The people that work there in the island are very genuine...
The people that work there in the island are very genuine and polite and helpful, always smiling. They make your time there very pleasant. Don’t forget to tip them. Jr and Anastasia from the club house coordinators are amazing and multi talented individuals. Don’t miss their daily sport activities by the pool.
