Great food, very nice rooms, excellent service in all areas, great facilities across the board. Everyone is so nice, it truly is almost like staying in a resort, but at a fraction of the cost and with the added charm of staying on a local island. Thanks so much to Nicole, Rowan, Francis and everyone else for treating us so well and being excellent professionals, always willing to go the extra mile. A rare find of a hotel that must be one of the best deals on the planet.

The house is new, clean and beautiful. And there is a place where you can relax and enjoy the seaview nearby. The time I spent here is comfortable and chill. Since the duration I stay is low season, the guest house offering me free tour guide for the whole island and free snorkeling plus GoPro video and photo. The boss and the staff here are really, really nice and kind.

Fantastic stay. The property is brand new , all the staff is really nice and cooperative. Rooms are very nice, new with minimal furniture, big and very clean. The sea view is stunning. It is a peaceful place, the only one with its quiet private beach where you can enjoy sunset , baby sharks and rays. You can enjoy dinner right on the beach and the atmosphere is speechless.The food is really nice and the service is very quick comparing to all the other restaurants in the island .They provide you beach towels and there is a common fridge where you can store your staff. Wifi works very well. Wonderful sea, a lot of beautiful beaches nearby (10 min walking to walk throughout the whole island) and many restaurants.

EVERYTHING. The stuff is extremely polite and friendly, helped us a lot with every question. We enjoyed the stay. The rooms are simple but very very clean. The ISLAND IS GORGEOUS. We were choosing it among all and it is one of the rarest that has all plusses together: long sand bank, beautiful snorkeling, diving with the whale sharks (we saw them) and with mantas (we were lack of time to do both). The island has some constructions, but it doesn't bother much). To reach the island was easy coz everything was very organized. So, we are very happy with our choice. Went after this to the Resort (Centara Ras Fushi), was also good. The best is to combine local island and resort to fulfill the whole trip with great and various emotions. For Dhigura island I would make 3 days (we had only 2) and for resort 3 would be also enough.

Our stay was truly unforgettable, with delicious food and exceptionally friendly staff. Every day, there were exciting excursions available for us to enjoy.The island itself is stunning, home to fascinating wildlife such as bats, herons, and eagles. At night, sharks come close to the shore, adding to the unique experience.     visiting the Maldives is a dream for anyone and I knew that the ayada maldives resort would go beyond that dream. Since I made the reservation a year ago and started contacting the hotel, I noticed the difference. Highly qualified staff to provide our adventure with a unique experience. From our departure point to the island it took exactly 36 hours … in Male we had a completely pleasant reception by the Ayada team who took us to the airport lounge, carried our bags and boarded us to the island. Upon disembarking, another big surprise was waiting for us to take us by boat to our final destination, arriving there, a warm welcome and Iqu, our assistant for a week, was waiting for us. Nothing could have been more perfect. Our villa inside the ocean and overlooking the sunset was perfect, the crystal clear water invited us every day for a swim. The wonderful restaurants, the employees always with a smile and ready for a good morning, good afternoon, good night. It was worth every hour until we got here … worth every penny invested. We chose the hotel because we wanted the island further away from Male … ​​our choice was the best possible !! Ayada surprised us … she welcomed us and conquered us … she deserves all the accolades of the best hotel in the Maldives in all aspects !!! thank you for the wonderful week you have given us.     I loved the beauty of the island, the excellent food, the world-class spa (the Indonesian ladies were true masters of their craft!), the shark-snorkelling excursion and the quality of my villa. I loved the small details, like the star-like light constellation in the pool at night, the hammock between the trees, the fact that the beautiful palm trees on the property were lit up at night so that we could appreciate their beauty; the fact that we could walk barefoot on the whole island (true barefoot luxury) and the fact that the sustainability focus on the island was so prominent. The breakfast buffet was among the best I've ever experienced in my whole life, and I've travelled a lot! All the dishes made from scratch and according to any whims and wishes, were truly impressive, both at breakfast and at dinner. I also appreciated the proximity to Male, which made both arrival and departure easy. The reception upon arrival was seamless, and the coordination with the Conrad upon my departure worked out perfectly. I also liked your shop, which had many cute souvenirs. I know you don't control the marine life, but that, too, was way beyond my expectations. All in all a magical stay! Thank you so much!

Every staff member is extremely courteous, friendly and professional. We aways felt welcome and cared for. Our host Samih was always responsive and proactive, he even called me when there was enough wind to do kitesurfing as I'm into it. I loved the gym and SPA facilities.     Amazing landscapes, delicious food (each day would bring sth new), wonderful, always smiled and ready to help people, reef near the hotel (colourful fish, turtles, sharks and mantas). Rooms cleaned every day, towels changed each day, trip from/to the aiport organized, so just after leaving Arrivals Zone at the airport we were taken care of. Lizzards, bats, tropical birds and a hen ;). No need to wear shoes while walking on the island. No crowds, peace and quiet. Would love to come back there one day....

    I only stayed overnight in Male and, in general, it was...

    I only stayed overnight in Male and, in general, it was enough. Simply passing though to get my flight home. As expected the city is noisy, busy and hectic. Wow the contrast from the laid-back, easygoing atol where I was based for the holiday. However, I still quite enjoyed it. The guy from the diving company arranged a tour guide for me whose policy was that I pay him what I thought his time was worth. I got to experience the traffic from a scooter (quite scary to begin with) was taken to the market and given lots of free samples of local foods to try and had visits to all the important sites in three brilliant hours. He also introduced me to a wonderful restaurant - The Seagull Cafe- where I visited another twice before leaving the food and the coffee were so good.

    One of the most beautiful places in the world.

    One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.

    Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

    Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

    I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

    We liked almost everything.

    We liked almost everything. Our vacation was relaxing and beautiful. The beach was perfect, with soft almost white sand and warm, clear blue water. The bungalow was was really cozy with sun set view. Snorkeling we saw sharks, turtles, so many amazing small fishes. And they were almost near our place. We had wonderful neighbors and made new friendships.

    The people that work there in the island are very genuine...

    The people that work there in the island are very genuine and polite and helpful, always smiling. They make your time there very pleasant. Don’t forget to tip them. Jr and Anastasia from the club house coordinators are amazing and multi talented individuals. Don’t miss their daily sport activities by the pool.

    An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

    I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...

    I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement. The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)! Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!). I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive! Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus. Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!
