ArgentinaWe stayed here 9 nights and we couldn't be happier! The place is very nice, it is always clean, the bedrooms are very comfortable and they are also always impeccable. The hotel offers free bikes, it's a plus on hot days! The hotel is also very well located near the centre and the beach. The breakfast area is very cosy outdoors with a very relaxing garden and view. The staff is always present and is very friendly and kind. Special mention to Waruna who attended us at breakfast and cleaned our room daily, always with a smile and well predisposed. Also to Anoof who received us the first day, gave us the information we needed about the island and helped us with everything we needed. We also did the whaleshark excursion and we had a very good guide, it was an unforgettable experience. I recommend this place without hesitation to spend your days in Dhigurah :)

But from the first minute i stepped on the island there was a hotel staff member who picked me up, took my backpack and led me to the hotel. After a welcome drink I was provided with the room keys and short explanation how everything works.
Buffet breakfast is nice even with fruit and cakes and they alter it every day. Hotel also provides nice snorchelling excursions.

The island has a charming local ambience, and running around it allowed me to discover many beautiful hidden spots. As the second property of Stone Hotels, the Beach hotel feels like a boutique retreat. Stone Hotels has amazing staff, great food, and lovely snorkeling once you find the “house reef.” A truly memorable experience. I’m very happy I chose this hotel — very recommended!

From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted by the friendly and attentive staff who made us feel like VIPs throughout our entire stay.
The customer service at this hotel is truly exceptional. When inclement weather prevented us from visiting the nearby islands on our scheduled day, the staff went above and beyond to make alternative arrangements. They quickly secured a hotel just a short five-minute drive from the airport and promptly rescheduled our flights when we expressed concerns about the revised departure time. . Their thoughtfulness and efficiency in handling the situation were truly commendable.
The way the staff empathized with our disappointment at losing a day on the island soothes our disappointed hearts! They wasted no time in offering us an upgrade and special perks to compensate for the unforeseen circumstances. Their genuine concern and effort to make things right instantly turned our disappointment into excitement.
Once we arrived on the island, we were greeted by a team of enthusiastic staff members who created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Their beaming smiles and genuine hospitality added an extra layer of joy to our vacation. It was evident that they genuinely cared about ensuring we had a memorable and enjoyable time.
Throughout our stay, our assigned gem, Hamzath, proved to be a true gem indeed. He took great care of us, ensuring our every need was met. Hamzath went above and beyond to curate unforgettable dining experiences for us, recommending the finest restaurants and providing personalized attention. It was clear that he took immense pride in his work and genuinely wanted us to have the best possible experience.
The natural beauty of the island was simply breathtaking. The crystal-clear waters and vibrant colors of the surrounding ocean were truly mesmerizing. We were thrilled to discover that we could easily indulge in snorkeling right from our room.

My recent trip to Kuramathi was nothing short of extraordinary—an absolute paradise on earth! From the moment I arrived, I was in awe of the crystal-clear turquoise waters, powdery white sand, and the vibrant marine life just waiting to be explored. The island has an almost magical tranquility, where every sunset felt like a painting and every morning greeted me with the serene sound of waves gently lapping the shore.
The resort was a true luxury experience. Our overwater bungalow offered breathtaking views of the endless horizon. The room was incredibly spacious, stylishly designed, and equipped with everything I could need for comfort. Every detail, from the luxurious bedding to the state-of-the-art amenities, made me feel relaxed.
The activities were a dream come true! I spent my days snorkeling in the calm blue waters. The Maldives is a haven for underwater exploration, and I was able to see marine life that I had only seen in documentaries. The private beach dinners under the stars and the decadent spa treatments completed the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.
What really stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the Maldivian people. From the welcoming smiles of the staff to the personalized service, I felt like I was treated like family throughout my entire stay. Whether it was the exquisite food or the seamless planning of excursions, everything exceeded my expectations.
Leaving the Kuramathi was bittersweet—I was rejuvenated, but I didn’t want the magic to end. If you’re looking for an unforgettable escape to paradise, then Kuramathi is the place to go. I can’t wait to return and create more lifelong memories.

visiting the Maldives is a dream for anyone and I knew that the ayada maldives resort would go beyond that dream. Since I made the reservation a year ago and started contacting the hotel, I noticed the difference. Highly qualified staff to provide our adventure with a unique experience. From our departure point to the island it took exactly 36 hours … in Male we had a completely pleasant reception by the Ayada team who took us to the airport lounge, carried our bags and boarded us to the island. Upon disembarking, another big surprise was waiting for us to take us by boat to our final destination, arriving there, a warm welcome and Iqu, our assistant for a week, was waiting for us. Nothing could have been more perfect. Our villa inside the ocean and overlooking the sunset was perfect, the crystal clear water invited us every day for a swim. The wonderful restaurants, the employees always with a smile and ready for a good morning, good afternoon, good night. It was worth every hour until we got here … worth every penny invested. We chose the hotel because we wanted the island further away from Male … our choice was the best possible !! Ayada surprised us … she welcomed us and conquered us … she deserves all the accolades of the best hotel in the Maldives in all aspects !!! thank you for the wonderful week you have given us. Their hospitality goes Above & Beyond ;)
Right from the moment we landed at the airport in Male, they were ready to greet and bring us to the resort via their speed boat. Everything was handled with absolute care and they were professional in their work. Our host Shaihaan was amazing as he helped and assisted in our requests.
The room, we booked a water villa which was just stunning, every morning we would just go for a swim because it was right at out door step. If you want privacy, get the water villa. The room itself was amazing.
The activities they provided were as well entertaining and we just had a lot of fun during out stay. I will advice to get the All Inclusive package. It is not just peace of mind, but a huge saver because its not food and beverage, it includes activities such as canoeing, snorkeling gears and other stuff within the package.
Highly highly recommended for couples as I went there for my honeymoon.
Last but not least, I'll reiterate their hospitality with this...we had an early flight out and had to depart from the resort early. The breakfast was not available at that time, yet the staff was aware of our flight details and arranged a small breakfast for us before departing. Thank you Villa Nautica!!

We had an unforgettable stay at One&Only, and it was made even more special thanks to the incredible team who went above and beyond at every turn.
Maricel at the souvenir shop was truly outstanding—warm, attentive, and proactive, she helped us find the perfect keepsakes with genuine care and thoughtful service. Eugene, our Villa Host, was simply the best. Always present yet never intrusive, he ensured everything flowed smoothly, from small comforts to special requests.
But the true highlight of our trip was the dive experience with Mo. He brought the ocean to life, guiding us through exhilarating encounters with manta rays and reef sharks, and even helping us upgrade our PADI licenses to adventure dives. His passion, expertise, and calm presence underwater made it a memory we’ll carry forever.
Every member of the One&Only staff contributed to the magic of our stay. From start to finish, we felt welcomed, cared for, and truly at home in paradise. Thank you all for the experience of a lifetime.

Meeru is a perfect place to relax and find peace! Great service, cleanest environment, best people, great food! I couldn’t express how satisfied I am with everything, we encountered some shortcomings but Meeru compensated us with much much more satisfaction than diappointment. I have never ever experienced such kind of service, serenity, relaxation, people and food. I would definitely stay here again and again and again. May I mention these great gentlemen who are always pleasant and ready to help at Maalan Resto: Aafin, Asri, Subash, Shanu and Imad and another guy who was assigned to Room 661 in April 8-11, 2024 of our stay (I forgot his name). They are all Meeru’s people asset! Everyone in the reception was great too. Buggy drivers are excellent. The boat guys during snorkeling activities. Everything!! Special mention as well to Ms. sherlyn mauricio for being very accommodating. Kudos to Meeru!

We had an unforgettable stay at Kandima Maldives. The service was excellent and the island was absolutely beautiful. Our villa was spacious, clean, and right by the gorgeous white-sand beach with crystal-clear water.
Breakfasts were fresh and had a great variety, and dinners were delicious with beautiful settings. Our boys loved the kids’ club — it was fun, safe, and gave them lots to do while we relaxed.
The resort had the perfect mix of activities and relaxation. We would love to come back!

Will forever remember the water, the sand, and the breathtaking views from our upgraded Overwater villa, in which we received an upgrade in our meal package as well… food was healthy and excellent . Staff, namely Fathi, Maath and Zian were world class and made u feel completely welcome !

I checked so many hotels before going to Maldives and most of them were quiet far and overpriced. Transfer from airport cost more than the actual price you pay for one night stay. But Adaaran Club Rannalhi was the only hotel I came across with reasonable price for transferring from airport to the hotel. Only cost me 160 dollars by ferry both ways.

An interesting place. Mostly pleasant people. Uneven pavements, loads of motorbikes parked make walking difficult too. Somewhat improved over the last few years. Currently (November 2025) many public facilities closed and sitting down anywhere is clearly not encouraged.

There are plenty of water activities and options to choose from. The people are very friendly, and I felt extremely safe throughout my stay. The only downside is that evenings are very quiet, with limited nightlife or entertainment.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

Ukulhas has a wonderful house reef next to Bikini beach which is beautiful and plenty of places to sit in the beach in the sun or shade all day. Great access to snorkeling and other water excursions. Other than that, not much to the island. Walked around the whole island and really sad to see how unkept the public areas are. Other than bikini beach and house reef, not much to do.

The sand bank and bikini beach were beautiful. Nice that US dollars are accepted but annoying that the $ needs to be pristine. Request speed boat for whale shark excursion. Nice variety of restaurants.

The people that work there in the island are very genuine...
The people that work there in the island are very genuine and polite and helpful, always smiling. They make your time there very pleasant. Don’t forget to tip them. Jr and Anastasia from the club house coordinators are amazing and multi talented individuals. Don’t miss their daily sport activities by the pool.
