- From $414.41 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 2,338 reviewsIt was better than we expected! All started even before the trip, in Booking messages where the staff asked more so they can prepare for us even better (our food limitations, date and time of arrival and departure, any preferences and requests, ...). When we arrived we were greeted by our lovely host Sony and she was our person to go to for any questions and requests. Each day you would get a message from her with the day's plan and program. The island is quite big and you can walk, see and use quite of facilities - few a la carte restaurants, beach bar, coffee shop, water sports, snorkeling point, gym, sauna and more. The food was really nice. We fell in love with the fresh fruits since e.g. that taste of pineapple you wont get anywhere (or other fruits). Quite of varierities in the food, while some were repeated but we loved it anyway so no problem for us. Regarding the fresh water you would get 1.5 litre of bottled water in every meal. We had full board so you can have at up to 4.5 litres of fresh water only from that. The rest was in our apartment where our lovely mister Pradeep filled every day during the apartment cleanup. We usually had 4 or 5 glass bottles (1 litre each) and this depends on your water consumption, but the thing is - it's included and not additionally charged. You can buy same bottled water you drink in the main restaurant but it is not really needed. I am writing about the water since I read quite of concerns in other resorts and islands. Back to mr Pradeep. Usually there are 2 cleanups in a day, but for us this was overkill so we decided with Pradeep to have only one. But he would clean your apartment twice if you ask him without any issues. Our request was mostly for clean towels, new fresh water and toiletries if needed. But you would get bed cleanup, floor in the apartment and outside along with the pool deck sweeping, along with other clothes folds if lying on bed.Guest review byMislavCroatia
- From $1,089.88 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 933 reviewsWe were met at the airport as expected. Boat waiting time for half an hour. The boat has collected passengers of two flights. The boat is comfortable, water was offered to us. The villa we stayed in was close to the AIR restaurant and the main outbuildings. There was slight noise from the generator and access to the beach was through a small staircase. After exploring the island, we realized that these two inconveniences, in fact, are the advantages of this villa. Elsewhere the generator noise was louder and some villas had no beach at all. Our beach was the beginning of a Home reef which attracted snorkelers. The villa is clean, not shabby, the pool and plumbing are in order. The cornice fell off, but due to the fact that I always carry a compact multi-tool with me, it was quickly repaired. There were mosquitoes, but we were armed with repellents. There was no clothesline for drying clothes, but we, as experienced travelers, brought our own. It will not be superfluous to take a flashlight with you. The Home reef is small - from AQUA to Water Villas - but we saw a lot. Of the rare ones - sharks, rays, turtles, moray eels, octopuses (even mating ones, which is very rare to see with your own eyes in the wild), clown fish, squid. We took half board - breakfast and dinner. We didn't want to waste our time on a lunch, which ended up preventing us from gaining extra pounds and more time for the beach and snorkelling. The choice of food in the AIR is not chic, but quite decent. The staff is friendly and understanding. Minor repairs were periodically carried out in neighboring villas between the visits of the guests. On the last day of our holiday, a table was prepared for us in the first row with flowers and a tablecloth. We didn't order and it was unexpectedly nice. The flight was early, but the restaurant prepared freshly baked croissants with juice. A small tip - check receipts.Guest review bySergeyKazakhstan
- From $1,014.16 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 230 reviewsWe’ve stayed 6 nights in this beautiful island in the Sunset Ocean Villa (villa 835). Marine life is practically right underneath our house. We spent hours looking at fishes, rays and sharks. The villa was nice and clean, tided-up at least twice every day. We were spoiled from the minute we arrived on the island. Praveen, our butler looked after us from the first minute to the last. He checked us in very quick, and whenever we needed something extra, he made it happen. So it’s a special thanks to him again. We also like to thank all the staff in the Sunset restaurant. They made our meals very special. Especially Naufaaz, who remembered from day 2 that we drink white wine with our lunch and dinner. We even got flowers on our table from him. And also special thanks to Shuma whose smile greeted us every time we entered the restaurant. The food was really nice, we liked the all kinds of currys and grilled fish, soups, and they make a decent cappuccino as well. We also like to mention the services of Ibbrahim, Rashfaani in the restaurant, and Muizz in the bar. They were all very kind to us, they all made us feel very special. We couldn’t complain about anything at all. We had a wonderful time there, one of our best holidays ever.Guest review byAlexandraIreland
- From $620 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 1,150 reviewsWe had an amazing time at Meeru! Even though we’ve been lucky enough to travel to some beautiful places, this truly felt like a dream vacation—absolutely spectacular. The resort has fantastic facilities, from a well-equipped gym to a tennis court, soccer field, and even padel. I spent more time exploring the island than in the gym though—walking around paradise is a workout in itself! The staff were wonderful, and both the buffet and à la carte restaurants were excellent. We were lucky to be upgraded from a beach villa to a water villa, and I have to say, it made a world of difference. If it’s within your budget, I’d definitely recommend splurging on a water villa or one with a private pool. We saw so many sharks and colorful fish right from our deck—it was magical. We also went for the all-inclusive option. Even though we’re not big drinkers, it felt worth it just for the peace of mind. Everything is priced in USD and things can get quite expensive, so it was nice not having to think about every meal or drink. All in all, an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!Guest review byLebogangNetherlands
- From $3,449.16 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 115 reviewsWe had an unforgettable stay at One&Only, and it was made even more special thanks to the incredible team who went above and beyond at every turn. Maricel at the souvenir shop was truly outstanding—warm, attentive, and proactive, she helped us find the perfect keepsakes with genuine care and thoughtful service. Eugene, our Villa Host, was simply the best. Always present yet never intrusive, he ensured everything flowed smoothly, from small comforts to special requests. But the true highlight of our trip was the dive experience with Mo. He brought the ocean to life, guiding us through exhilarating encounters with manta rays and reef sharks, and even helping us upgrade our PADI licenses to adventure dives. His passion, expertise, and calm presence underwater made it a memory we’ll carry forever. Every member of the One&Only staff contributed to the magic of our stay. From start to finish, we felt welcomed, cared for, and truly at home in paradise. Thank you all for the experience of a lifetime.Guest review byKrystlePhilippines
- From $888.03 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 795 reviewsFrom the moment you touch down in Malé, everything is taken care of by Oblu Select. We spent 5 nights and it was perfect in every way. The Serenity plan is generous with fantastic food, two beautiful dining experiences, two excursions and unlimited premium drinks. The island is stunning whether you want to be peaceful and keep to yourself, or mix with others. Amazing snorkeling, sunsets, sand, it has everything. The speedboat ride is relatively short and maximizes your travel time. we arrived early and left late and were accommodated and looked after the entire time, leaving the island in the evening for a night flight. Premium but not pretentious, relaxing, and outstanding service across the board from every member of staff.Guest review byNickAustralia

Great location! Very amazing facility- ( amazing staff: very responsive, professional, polite and respectful, very friendly …). The rooms are great, very clean, spacious, it feels like home. The food is very nice. The beaches are amazing and the resort has multiple recreation options. Kids have never been bored, different playing facilities are available. Overall we are highly satisfied with our stay and would like to say thank you to the management and staff. Keep it up.Guest review byMuderis AbdualhiIndia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 129 reviewsEverything was just perfect, right from the beginning until the last second. The team made our honeymoon an unforgettable one, starting from our Mrs. Friday (Jaisha) to Hafeez, Ahmet and everyone who supported us. The facility was unreal, everything was customized for us (even the food menu had our names on it). Food was spot on, every night had a different theme and I honestly cant describe how good it was. We had the best time so far and honestly Gili raised the bar way too high, we will definitely be celebrating one anniversary there.Guest review byMohammadSaudi Arabia

One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.Guest review byÁkosHungary - 10.0
We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!Guest review byClannyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement. The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)! Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!). I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive! Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus. Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!Guest review byLaurenL97United Kingdom - 6.0

We only had 4 days and picked Huraa because it is close to the airport. A very bad choice. The island is absolutely not nice, full of trash, nothing is taken care of, even the bikini beach was a huge disappointment, dirty, broken sunbeds, only 6 umbrellas. No cafes, restaurants anywhere. The only nice place on the entire island is the Pearl Sands. It is a hotel, but you can pay a daypass to use their beautiful private beach including a very a good lunch. That place saved our vacation.Guest review byanitaGermany - 8.0

Small island, blue, turquoise, clean and clear water. Great place for snorkeling in the house coral reef. All the staff from reception to restaurants, dive center, housekeeping are so welcoming, all with bright smile. Food was top. Dinner was set course and of the highest quality. Breakfast was amazing with a lot of options. 5 stars to the chef in charge. Sunset spot was surreal. All the beach villas come with private beach, still can't get over the view. Wifi is a bit slow but not complaints since we were not there for the wifi.Guest review byAxelUnited Arab Emirates - 10.0

Just stunning, white sand, turquise waters full of life and tropical fish, and palm trees. The ultimate relaxation! The beach is beautiful.
The beach is beautiful. I´m afraid it would be too crowded in a couple of years as the contruction of new buildings on the island is massive. Would be nice to remove the hakenkreuz that is sprayed on the wall in the harbor. Not a nice welcome sign for tourists.Guest review byZuzanaSlovakia
