My unique private little hut made me feel very welcome. All the staff were wonderful but Albert gave me so much attention that he deserves special mention. We had long honest conversations about all things of importance. The village and the people were very impressive with their simple life style.

Felix was really helpful with anything needed. It was nice connecting with other travelers while there as well.
Chipatso features free bikes, garden, a terrace and bar in Cape Maclear. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service.

Staff were very nice and the facilities too! The only comment is the mosquito nets had gaps in them so we were happy to have brought coils☺️

Levi and team were very accommodating and made sure that I was comfortable and provided whatever was needed. Rustic location, perfect to just relax and enjoy the view of the lake. Breakfast was served right by the waterfront with private area where you can sit and watch the life go by as villagers on the public area nearby do their daily chores. Quest also made suggestions where to go and what to do around Cape Maclear. I had beef stew for dinner which was amazing. Ample parking space.
