- From $163.72 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 591 reviewsThe staff don't change, which is a good sign for the management, and means they recognize that I am a frequent and loyal guest. The concierge team in particular (Juan Pablo, Rafael and Mario) is great. The hotel design is very basic but everything is pleasant, well maintained and functions well. The food in the dining room is good and provides a decent selection at a fair price. The rooms are well appointed and clean, the beds are comfortable and there are nice touches in the room like useful amenities, robes and a small kettle. The shower and toilet always work well. The location is excellent and with the exception of the rooms facing the roof top bar next door, the rooms are quiet. I have been to the best hotels in the world and I'll say that what one gives up in beauty and glamor at this hotel one wins back in consistent quality in spades. My go to hotel in Mexico City.Guest review bySaniMexico

The restaurant and bar exceeded my expectations, serving delicious meals and refreshing drinks in a delightful ambiance. The location couldn’t be more perfect—central to all the attractions and a great spot to unwind. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to this wonderful hotel! - From $56.19 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 488 reviewsPerfect location for a 5:30 am kayak excursion in the chinampas of Xochimilco. It's a 15 minute walk to Cuemanco embarcadero. The room was big and comfortable. Very quiet and nice helpful staff. As some customers already pointed out it doubles as a "love hotel" and maybe not suitable for families. But it's perfect for solo travelers or a couple, obviously!Guest review byCharCozFrance

The bathroom was as clean as spacious as it gets as was the room. Breakfast was good, you get a complimentary American breakfast that you can upgrade to buffet for a small quantity, it was worth it. There is a lot to like about Mexico City.
There is a lot to like about Mexico City. Primarily the food is fabulous. I'm a little paranoid about food in Mexico but I had no problems. I highly recommend Expendio de Maiz Sin Nombre. The city is eminently walkable with a terrific Metro system. At no time did I feel even slightly unsafe. The Anthropology Museum is a must see. I will add a word of caution. At least for me altitude sickness was a real problem - you may need to add time to acclimate yourself.Guest review byStuartCanada - 10.0
Extremely clean everywhere, including all the public toilet...
Extremely clean everywhere, including all the public toilet facilities. For a European the cost of living is very low. Easy to get around. I walked or got an Uber but I was told that the public transport is good and again, cheap. I always felt safe, but I obviously avoided any dodgy areas, especially at night, as one would in any big city. The traffic is dreadful, so as it is so big, you have to factor in the time it takes to get from place to place. Great museums which are either free or about £4/5. People are lovely, very gentle and helpful. I booked a day trip to Teotihuacan which was excellent. Loads of restaurants and food outlets. I loved Los Azulejos, near Bellas Artes. The Chapultepec Park is beautiful for a relaxing walk.Guest review bySusanUnited Kingdom - 6.0
