- From $822.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.6Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 171 reviewsOne of the most amazing vacations we have had in a while! The staff, the rooms, the ambiance, clean beaches, conveniently located, everything was amazing! We spent 5 days here and honestly was so relaxing. Wifi was great, air conditioning, room amenities, all fantastic. I will say the private pool was cozy, although the water was not temperature controlled. The staff is wonderful at assisting with setting up dinner reservations, Cenote tours, towels for the beach, etc. We came in October when the season is slower and with lower occupancy was really nice. Saturday night is their beach club party and well worth it. Pro tip, buy water and alcohol from local convenient store and keep in your room. Water is $6 per bottle everywhere and that adds up just as fast as alcohol. During the party, you can go back to your room and have a few before returning for the party. :) Highly recommend asking the staff for bicycle rentals and using them to get to places during the day! At night however, be mindful and get a taxi for your safety. When we go back to Tulum, high chance we will come stay at PPP again!Guest review byCarolineUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 140 reviewsthe grounds were beautiful! Flora and fauna were lovely as well as the extensive pool area. The beach seating was plentiful, but the ocean floor was rocky in spots. You had to be careful where you entered and exited. Water was just the right temp; waves were perfect for floating with an occasional jump - kids and adults alike!Guest review byMary EvelynUnited States
- From $1,300 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,058 reviewsThe attention to detail was fantastic. Customer service was excellent and the food was amazingly delicious and has a huge variety. The resort is large enough that there's plenty of space for everyone. The architecture blended with nature was wonderfully well considered. The parks were fun and the night show was beautiful.Guest review byKarlaAustralia

Safer than advertised in uk.
Safer than advertised in uk. Police around every corner but we don’t believe they need to be there. Lots of friendly people. It’s a little off putting that store holders shout at you to go in their shops but I suppose they want the customers. I’m just not into being dragged into shops, I like to choose where I go in. Most shops are selling the same items tooGuest review bySailor girlUnited Kingdom - 2.0

As a family with tweens we did not enjoy Tulum & will not be back. The kids were not allowed many places/ restaurants. Algea covered the beach (it was july), the restaurants were priced higher than where we live but the quality of the food was poor. If you are a family I would skip and go elsewhere. The cenotes in the reason are awesome!Guest review byCaralynUnited States - 10.0

Very nice beach town which escaped from the big resorts and party places along the Riviera Maya. It has some nice places to eat and drink, so everything you need to find rest and peace with an amazing view and feel of the coastline near CancunGuest review byWouterBelgium - 10.0
My FAVORITE cenotes were at Sac Actun and Ecopark Kantun Chi...
My FAVORITE cenotes were at Sac Actun and Ecopark Kantun Chi. Sac Actun requires a guide, but it's not as expensive as some of the other places. The cenote is beautiful and they provide you with wetsuits (which helps a LOT with the cold) and goggles. It was a very cool experience. Ecopark Kantun Chi has 5 cenotes but we bought the entrance that allows you to go 4 of them without a guide. For us, this was perfect because we could spend as much time as we wanted at each spot and they were all so different and beautiful. I loved #3, which was an open sky cenote with a waterfall and #4, which was a really cool cave with spots where the sunlight streamed in from above. We got to see some lobsters there too. Also a very cool feature is that there are kayaks in several of the cenotes so you get to explore them that way as well. Another cool spot was Languna Yal Ku where we got to snorkel in calm water and see so many different types of fish. I highly recommend wearing clothing that covers your arms and legs since sunscreen isn't permitted and you are directly exposed to the sun the whole time. For meals, we enjoyed traveling to both Akumal Pueblo (for some simple and cheaper meals) and Akumal Playa on the other side of the road for some more variety.Guest review byNatasha - 10.0
What a cool spot!
What a cool spot! We are definitely not the all inclusive resort kind of travelling family. So when we stumbled upon Puerto Adventuras, we were hapily impressed. There was so much to do within walking distance. There is a park, kids camps, beautiful beaches, swimming pools, amazing choice restaurants, and an overall really cool vibe. I liked it because although it felt like - yes this is definitely an international tourist destination - it also felt grounded and down to earth. In addition to the travellers who pass through, many people live and work in Puerto Adventuras giving it a really lovely family neighbourhood feel.Guest review byZoeCanada - 6.0
Punta Allen seems to be a virgin place in Mexico.
Punta Allen seems to be a virgin place in Mexico. Not many tourists not many places like restaurants or shops. Its full of sargaso and at the moment properties cant deal with it and many of them are on the beach. But you can have nice excursions to see dolphins at the nature ,we took the fishers boat and went to see dolphins and turtles do some snorkel, kids loved it! But this place is far and the road is not good.Guest review byTravels ExpertLithuania - 2.0

This hotel is not for families, it was way to much noise all night long drunk people scream in the hallways , our door was nock at 1-3 in the morning woke up our children age 2y, 6y, 8y. The staff were so helpless, unfriendly and rude. Every time we had to eat was so stressful cause the waiters will be so mad and we will ask for things like water they will take for ever to give to us. It was a buffe every time but water wasn’t available or even a spoon. They drop drinks next to ur table they didn’t clean it the whole breakfast we were there, i was so afraid any of us will fall down. Front Thea people never knew the answer. Overall we were so disappointed. It feel like a super cheap hotel, full of a lot of drunk people. I read bad reviews and didn’t payed attention but I wish I did. I’m not happy at all with this hotel experience and I’m not planing to eve go back. The ocean was the only thing was good about our trip.Guest review byDorcasBahamas - 8.0
Small typical town for the area without many tourists.
Small typical town for the area without many tourists. A couple of good local options for simple restaurants (we ate at Los Primos) which offered good food at reasonable prices. Felt perfectly safe to walk/drive around after dark here as well.Guest review byConnieBelgium - 6.0

The restaurant needs better management, Service was terrible most of the guests had to wait almost 2 hours to be served with breakfast. I got tired of that service and started to have breakfast, a better breakfast somewhere else.Guest review byWalterUnited States - 2.0
Checked out early as couldn’t stay here any longer.
Checked out early as couldn’t stay here any longer. Tried to raise a complaint with the duty manager and was treated worse after doing so. Food is bad and you have to Que to get into the buffet restaurant because they claim they are not busy due to low season so not opening up all of the restaurant. Oh and you get charge £150 if you loose your room key.Guest review byClifford
