- From $822.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.6Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 170 reviewsOne of the most amazing vacations we have had in a while! The staff, the rooms, the ambiance, clean beaches, conveniently located, everything was amazing! We spent 5 days here and honestly was so relaxing. Wifi was great, air conditioning, room amenities, all fantastic. I will say the private pool was cozy, although the water was not temperature controlled. The staff is wonderful at assisting with setting up dinner reservations, Cenote tours, towels for the beach, etc. We came in October when the season is slower and with lower occupancy was really nice. Saturday night is their beach club party and well worth it. Pro tip, buy water and alcohol from local convenient store and keep in your room. Water is $6 per bottle everywhere and that adds up just as fast as alcohol. During the party, you can go back to your room and have a few before returning for the party. :) Highly recommend asking the staff for bicycle rentals and using them to get to places during the day! At night however, be mindful and get a taxi for your safety. When we go back to Tulum, high chance we will come stay at PPP again!Guest review byCarolineUnited States
- From $372 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.3Good - What previous guests thought, 1,157 reviewsFirst and foremost this place is a hidden gem. The lobby area needs upgrading it will disappoint you at first. I wasn’t too impressed when I arrived. Actually was ready to book somewhere else. However, it was super bowl night and I knew I wouldn’t find anything right away. So we stayed. And I’m so glad we did! Once we got pass the lobby situation and headed to our room it was like paradise! We had the Junior Suite swim up room. Amazing! The property is great! The beach and the staff. We had a conceiage named Fabian. He was magnificent! He’s what made our stay amazing! Not to mention we were celebrating our 31st anniversary. We did not have to want for anything! If you can get pass the lobby! Don’t let it discourage you. I promise you it will be good!Guest review bySimon & ChevalUnited States

Our room had this amazing ocean view. The music around the hotel was nonstop and gave the whole place such a fun, energetic vibe. The staff were super nice, and there was always something going on, from cool drinks to fun by the pool. Even though it was just one night, it felt like a mini vacation packed with good vibes and pretty views. Totally recommend if you wanna have a good time and feel like a rockstar.Guest review byAmandaMexico

Mid-September and the weather was unbelievably awful. 100 degrees and 98% humidity. I definitely came at the wrong time of the year. This place is party central; if you're not a partier, I'd suggest staying someplace closer to what you enjoy; if you're a diver, I'd suggest Puerto Vallarta. If you're into archeology, I'd suggest Playa del Carmen. But if you're a newlywed and only into partying and booze, this is your place.Guest review byJenniferUnited States - 10.0

We love this hotel. Just a short walk to a fantastic beach. They let us borrow two folding beach chairs and they supply beach towels. We stayed in Apartment #7. It was quite large, amply cooking supplies in the kitchen, clean and comfortable. We will return.Guest review byJonathanUnited States - 2.0

As a family with tweens we did not enjoy Tulum & will not be back. The kids were not allowed many places/ restaurants. Algea covered the beach (it was july), the restaurants were priced higher than where we live but the quality of the food was poor. If you are a family I would skip and go elsewhere. The cenotes in the reason are awesome!Guest review byCaralynUnited States - 8.0
Holbox Island was great.
Holbox Island was great. The center has an easy/casual vibe but lively and has good restaurant and store options. They had some great trendy cafes, also the streets are sand and can get flooded so don't plan on dressing up. We took the ferry there and a private boat back. I like the private boat option better. It was just as quick and a little cheaper and we had a really early flight so the ferry's werent working. If you have an early flight from Cancun, do not stay the night before on Holbox Island. It will require some extra planning if you do. The sandbar is beautiful. We went to coco beach to see the Bioluminescence by ourselves and it saved us lots of money because we were a big group. The taxi drivers are not very friendly but they typically follow the prices that they post but you will get the sly one sometimes. overall, I would reccomend Holbox and the Island life.Guest review byElizabethUnited States - 8.0

I enjoyed the natural beauty of the areas outside the touristy downtown area. I rented a scooter and drove the entire perimeter of the island (about 2 hours around without stops), but there are a few sightseeing locations, so plan a bit more time. I was there to go scuba diving and it did not disappoint. Once you get out of the touristy areas Cozumel is basically a rundown Caribbean island with not much to offer.Guest review byJohnUnited States - 10.0

My FAVORITE cenotes were at Sac Actun and Ecopark Kantun Chi. Sac Actun requires a guide, but it's not as expensive as some of the other places. The cenote is beautiful and they provide you with wetsuits (which helps a LOT with the cold) and goggles. It was a very cool experience. Ecopark Kantun Chi has 5 cenotes but we bought the entrance that allows you to go 4 of them without a guide. For us, this was perfect because we could spend as much time as we wanted at each spot and they were all so different and beautiful. I loved #3, which was an open sky cenote with a waterfall and #4, which was a really cool cave with spots where the sunlight streamed in from above. We got to see some lobsters there too. Also a very cool feature is that there are kayaks in several of the cenotes so you get to explore them that way as well. Another cool spot was Languna Yal Ku where we got to snorkel in calm water and see so many different types of fish. I highly recommend wearing clothing that covers your arms and legs since sunscreen isn't permitted and you are directly exposed to the sun the whole time. For meals, we enjoyed traveling to both Akumal Pueblo (for some simple and cheaper meals) and Akumal Playa on the other side of the road for some more variety.Guest review byNatasha
