- From $200.13 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 93 reviewsThe location was phenomenal! It has direct access to the beach from many of its facilities while at the same time access to the little town on the opposite end (walk through multiple resort buildings). All facilities I visited were so well kept! Please note this is NOT a luxurious resort. It’s very old and outdated but it is clean, inexpensive, great location, and we felt safe at all times. The pools were clean, eating areas, rooms, beds, etc. The food is edible but again, not five star. But it’s also not spam (I read this somewhere before I went and still went for because of location safety and cleanliness). You get a good variety for all meals, and drinks. Omelette station, potatoes, chicken, soups, enchiladas, beans.Guest review byZuritUnited States
- From $229.24 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 448 reviewsI enjoyed a lot the food in this hotel, the staff is very friendly and helpful. My room was located in the 4th tower which you can tell everything is new, AC, big bathroom with bath tub. Restaurant on the roof with swimming pool and on the main floor there’s another restaurant along with the bar and live music. The taxis are right in front of the hotel as well as the public transportation. Very convenient. Also has an ATMGuest review byMayaninCanada

No cash in the ATM’s for three weeks .
No cash in the ATM’s for three weeks . Day trippers from PVR could get by but people visiting for a month or so found this very inconvenient . Adding to this problem was the fact that most places to eat accepted cash only .Guest review byRichardCanada - 8.0

Beautiful country, the best restaurant in the bay for breakfast/lunch is LUNA LUNA. Lots of flowering plants and tropical trees still line the streets....MANY condo developments and lots of construction happening in the 'golden zone'. East of the 200 highway is a more authentic area to stay if you want a local experience outside of the condo/hotel areas.Guest review byStephanieCanada - 8.0

Rincon is not for everyone. It is not in the least upscale.
Rincon is not for everyone. It is not in the least upscale. Most North American tourist were more than 60 years old. You will not make 'young' friends here. Almost everyone, including me, have been coming to Rincon for many years. It is a truly Mexican, beach town with many very comfortable, long stay hotels, most with kitchen option. The people of Rincon are exceptionally friendly in a authentic way. There are many other small beach town North and Soth of Rincon. When driving you will experience a lot of down and out poverty. Much un-controlled developement. Many areas are as bad as anything you will experience in Africa. But, I felt 100 % safe my 30 day stay there.Guest review byMichaelUnited States - 8.0

It is a nice small town with nice people. The food is good, especially the seafood. There is not much to do but the tour to the Islas Marrietas and the Playa Escondida is a must, a very beautiful and unique experience.Guest review byTT TwisterUnited States - 10.0
San Pancho is easy to get to by taxi from PV airport.
San Pancho is easy to get to by taxi from PV airport. It's a small town with a lot of heart and community spirit. Wonderful eateries, beautiful beach, family oriented, full of culture, music, art, delicious food, safe, welcoming, great weekly marketGuest review byCarolCanada - 10.0
Loved the views and the amenities.
Loved the views and the amenities. The beach was beautiful and clean. Perfect for small children and all ages. The villa came with everything you could want. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The chef was exceptional. She even went grocery shopping for us. This made travelling in a group of 10 much easier. Getting around Crux de Huanacaxtle is not easy from Real del Mar. But the beach was so beautiful, we did not want to be anywhere else, except for the villa, which was so comfortable.Guest review byKarenUnited States - 8.0

Friendly people, lots to see if you like small coastal fishing villages. With two rivers, there are plenty of birds and wildlife to see. The village is pleasant to walk at night with local families enjoying the plaza.Guest review byShawnCanada - 4.0

There was a large accumulation of garbage on every strret corner and everywhere you looked. The garbage trucks did come round on a regular basis but didnt collect any that had been dumped elsewhere. The Malecon had been a beautiful place but was full of drunks and druggies all the time, sleeping on the benches day and night. There was not one chair or restaurant anywhere on the beach in that whole area for you to sit and enjoy the ocean view. the road in front of the Malecon was flooded the whole 3 weeks we were there with sewerage smelling water . Lots of abandoned dogs needing help and in very poor shape which really upset me. Would never go there again, it was far from an enjoyable experience.Guest review byRiley - 10.0
Sayulita is a surf town with a laid-back atmosphere.
Sayulita is a surf town with a laid-back atmosphere. It has a low-key vibe, lots of local "hole in the wall" places for great food and drinks, funky boho shopping and beautiful, brightly colored "papel picados" swinging freely throughout the streets.Guest review byTabithaUnited States
