The hotel is located right next to the Cathedral of Maputo. WiFi connection was stable and good quality. Breakfast was included and had a variety of choices. The receptionist Mr. Ibraimo Lai was amazing: he was very professional and helpful. We booked a basic room, and we asked if he could assign a room at higher floor, and he ended up upgraded us to a suite room, which has the best view of the city. If one day we come back to Pestana Rovuma, he will be one of the factors.

It's an old colonial-style place kept to the best standards of Serena hotels and features probably the best restaurants in town. The seafood, traditional African cuisine, and the open terrace bar are exceptional. The location of the place enables customers to reach out to local sightseeing and curious markets within walking distance.

The hotel is very nice and is very well located. They have a very equipped gym and an exquisite spa, which provided awesome moments. The place is secure as I felt home in the hotel. Defintely a place to return.

It was easy to get around Maputo. Highlights, Ktembe Bridge,Port, Fish Market, you can buy and get them prepare your seafood just outside. We enjoyed that.Many little restuarants outside the market,

The place needs spring cleaning.EVERYTHING WAS DIRTY AND UNACCEPTABLE. DIRTY BLOOD AND HAIR ON BEDDING, HOLE IN SHEET,bedding was not changed,bath and room not mopped. staff were unfriendly and unwilling to help,even curtains were stained. poor and dirty quality. never stay here.

Very quiet and peaceful place, great to be amongst nature. Staff and food were great, as were the rooms which were great value for money. Best part was the trip they organised to the area for snorkelling, looked after so well, organising a beach picnic, sun chairs and shade etc. as well as helping find the best places to snorkel and spot dolphins and flamingoes.

Park car at your accommodation do not use if possible
Taxis and tuk tuks provide easy relatively cheap transport everywhere just ensure you have sufficient small notes / change
Difficult to find supermarket supplies bring basics with you
Beach quite dirty and water smelt of sewerage
Restaurant food quite expensive, ended up eating whole chicken at PeriPeri. Even fruit was expensive
Not many attractions and some were not well looked after
Next time will take ferry to Inhaca for beach time

Unfortunately, my Portuguese language is very poor so I had challenges communicating with citizens.
