Nice introduction to Namibian wildlife for my ten-year-old daughter: she petted a rhino and giraffe. Location served well as a lodge beyond Windhoek on way to Damaraland. Cheetah feeding was a nice, unexpected bonus.

It is a must to visit Omurenga while in Namibia. Place is stunning and luxury, fancy but very comfortable and welcoming, unique. Views from every corner are incredible. Food is homemade and delicious, cooked by professional chef. Place has only 4 chalets, which are tastefully decorated, very big in size and extremely comfortable. We chose this lodge because of its convenient location on the route from the Atlantic coast to Etosha. Along the way, we also had time to visit Spitzkoppe. Even before our arrival, I could tell we were in for a special experience: the owner was in touch with us regularly, asking in advance about the group’s meal preferences and helping coordinate our arrival. The property is a truly beautiful oasis, almost like a botanical garden. It features not only a pool and charming bungalows, but also a unique lounge with a balcony overlooking a waterhole, where you can watch wildlife up close. The lodge also has its own beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious food.
