HABITAS NAMIBIA är en hållbar fristad på en 47 000 hektar stor privat egendom, 45 minuter från Hosea Kutako internationella flygplats. Här finns en restaurang, en bar och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Beautiful setting/views, clean, tented room was very spacious and had very good insulation/heating. Rock hyrax (also referred to as dassies) just our patio we’re very cute and kept us entertained in the early evening. The bush brai dinner was spectacular in every way!

Arebbusch Travel Lodge ligger på ett stort område vid den uttorkade Arebbuschfloden, 5 km från centrala Windhoek. Vi bodde här vår sista natt innan hemfärd och läget är bra för att ta sig vidare till flygplatsen. Fina rum med bra sängar och badrum. Rent och fräscht och fina uteplatser. Fint poolområde och bra restaurang som serverade utmärkt frukost, lunch och middag. Lätt att parkera och väldigt säkert. Kan rekommendera men det är en bit från centrala Windhoek.

Windhoek Gardens Boutique Hotel ligger i Windhoek, mindre än 1 km från Windhoek railway station, och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool, gratis privat parkering, en trädgård och en terrass. An all-round pleasant stay - the staff in particular were always really friendly and helpful. The property was very clean, safe (and felt safe), nice pool, good food in the restaurant. Good location... I could go on!

Excellent stay in a sanctuary close to the airport and Windhoek. If you want to spend the first night or last night close to Windhoek, this is a great option. I would suggest to stay at least two nights to have time to participate in the various wildlife activities they offer on the premises. Corne met us with welcome drinks at the reception and gave us all the necessary information we needed for our stay. He and the rest of the staff have been very helpful and responsive. If you read my review you probably have read as well some other recent reviews, as I did and I almost cancelled my stay here. I'm so glad I didn't, because we had a wonderful stay, one night was just too short. The recent very negative reviews definitely don't do justice to this great place that has been created with a much deeper reason than just being a lodge. Don't expect a luxury lodge at the top end, but that is not what you are paying anyway. The cost is totally justified for what you get. We stayed in chalet number one, very convenient next to the main building with the restaurant, reception and common reading area. Our room was super clean and nothing was missing, everything well stocked, towels, coffee, tea and minibar. There are definitely no rats in the room, my guess is that some guests might have mistaken the rock hyrax for rats. It could happen if you leave the sliding windows to the deck open that some curious animals enter your room, the instructions to always close the doors is clearly marked, even baboons could enter and they could really mess around. But aren't the animals one of the reason why we come to visit Namibia? Just don't let them enter your room. We had a wonderful sunset horse ride which Cindy, the caretaker of the horses. She is very calm and did a wonderful job and her colleague prepared us a sundowner for our last sunset in Namibia out in the wilderness, amazing! The 4 course diner was delicious and so was the breakfast!

Hotel Thule ligger i en sluttning, 5 minuters bilresa från centrala Windhoek, och erbjuder fantastisk utsikt över staden. Här finns en restaurang och en bar. There’s a fantastic view and the people are tremendous… This is really the best place you can possibly stay in Windhoek!
