Also, I really appreciated how quiet it was. Although this is in the heart of Managua, only a 10 minute drive to a very nice large shopping mall, the fact that Managua Hills is tucked away on a side street in a quiet neighborhood provides much needed peace and quiet from the busy city. That was really nice. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe in the area. The vegetation/plants and layout of this place were all beautiful. The pool was clean, refreshing, and relaxing. And the staff was very kind and welcoming. I stayed for three days/two nights, no complaints. When I requested transportation to the airport on my last day, they were very flexible with my schedule and offered me a safe ride with a reasonable charge. I really enjoyed my stay at Managua Hills. love the city, if you have never visited, I recommend taxi service, there is no Uber here. Also the food is great and the value way better than other places. I hired a cab driver for all my trips and he was OK with me texting him for pick ups and drop offs at the last minute. Not every cab driver has the flexibility.
