I loved Ometepe and Moyogalpa with its colorful houses, clean with a countryside feel. Mari the owner was absolutely so lovely. The nicest Nicaragua woman I have met so far. Always happy to answer our countless questions. Love the staff there too. The kitchen had everything you needed to make a good meal and it was always clean. I slept really well as it was extremely quiet at night. I really miss Mari and Her staff were so friendly too. If I ever go back to Ometepe I am staying at Casa de Gio. Thank you Mari and your staff and family.

location was right by the ferry port and close to quite a few restaurants and a grocery store! I stayed for three nights because of how wonderful and chill the atmosphere was. The staff and owners are so friendly and the hostel itself is so colourful and comfortable. There are so many places to relax, a kitchen to cook in and the rooms are a great temperature at night. if you’re looking for a place to stay in Ometepe or just passing through Moyogalpa, I would totally recommend staying here!

Amazing place. The hostel is great quality for money, really close to the city. It's a relaxed vibe and the staff are incredible. I hurt my foot while I was on Ometepe, and even though I didn't ask, the staff offered me all kinds of help. They drove me to the hospital and back and helped with other things too. They even drove me to catch my ferry at 6am. I really really recommend this hostal. I know I will be back here next time I'm in ometepe.

Very clean, excellent, friendly and efficient staff. Facilitated scooter rental and had it delivered to hotel. Great breakfast. Rooms are very spacious and clean. They are bungalow style and far away from main area for complete privacy. Amazing view of volcán Concepción every morning. Great place to stay in Ometepe. I was there for three nights Karlysa and Reina will take good care of you with their smiles, warmth and kindness. Highly recommended.

The location overlooked the volcano and natural beauty of Ometepe Island. The room was clean and quiet. The hotel has a beautiful pool and lounge area and the staff cook nice meals. The staff was very friendly and tried to accommodate whatever was asked. It is a very quiet and peaceful place and if you are looking to truly disconnect and escape, this is the place to do it.

Great location. A short (6 minute) walk into town. The staff were wonderful- friendly and helpful. The food was very good and reasonably priced. It was nice to be able to have dinner at the hotel when it was raining and we didn’t want to walk into town. They also arranged tours, rentals of scooters, ATVs, etc and even a taxi pick up from the ferry when we left Ometepe.

José was a great host and did everything he could to make sure we had a good time on Ometepe. Many places organise tours and provide advice but José goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need and are taken care of. I have stayed in hostels all over the world but not one where the host made such an impression on me. Highly recommended for this alone.

Far away from the daily hectic, Finca La Magia is a perfect place to relax and explore the island of Ometepe. Although the little lodge is pretty basic with an outdoor shower and toilet, you hear only the sound of nature in the night. The owners Delfa and Victor made our stay unforgettable. Especially the homemade food is one of the best in whole Nicaragua.

The room was spacious and unique. The property is gorgeous! Every fruit and vegetable tree you can think of. Wild monkeys run around the property, as well as the owners cute pets. A bit far from everything but that's what makes this place so peaceful. All of the staff are extremely friendly and polite. Food is fresh and delicious! Best hotel on Ometepe.

Amazing apartment with a huge bed and a lot of space. It was very handy to repack our luggage. Very good breakfast for a good price. Kind staff. Great garden. Two lovely dogs and a cool cat. You need go have a off road vehicle (but imo it is very handy for the rest of ometepe as well). There is nothing we didn't like. It was super!

Good location. Walking distance to many nice restaurants in central town. Owner is fantastically friendly and helpful. Clean. Communal kitchen and fridge. We stayed for 5 nights which was a decent amount of time to see Ometepe. Renting a motorcycle or scooter is more or less required to do stuff on the island.

Carlos was great and helped arrange a ferry reservation for our truck. Xalli Beach Hotel is the perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of Motogylpa, but close enough to restaurants and activities. The room was clean and the free breakfast was awesome. Thanks for an awesome stay on Ometepe.

This hostel was amazing! It brought healthy living & eating with that touch of conscious & spiritual community (singing circle) vibe. What an incredible place to stay. I will definitely come back to stay here when I come back to Ometepe. The staff, food, and cacao were incredible!

Every thing was nice - the breakfast, meals, location, staff. Highly recommend to stay at lake front cabanas right on the lake shore. Stay at this place if you’re planning a trip on the beautiful Ometepe Island. A trip to Nicaragua is never complete without going to Ometepe Island

Angela is the best host ever! She is the sweetest and most caring host I’ve met in any hostel! 6$ for a bed in a three bed dorm and the lovely breakfast included is the best value for money you’ll find in ometepe! 10/10 highly recommend!

Really nice hostel - very welcoming and friendly. The communal areas were great with lots of hammocks and places to chill. Kitchen was well equipped and shared bathrooms very clean. Would recommend to anyone staying in Ometepe!

This was a nice place to stay The room was huge and it’s quite convenient for the town, I didn’t have long in Ometepe. If you have longer o would reccomend staying in a more remote earlier but this was extremely convenient

very calm, relaxed hostel, with comfy hammocks in a nice garden area. Great breakfast and super friendly owners. I extended my stay twice! Whenever I travel again to Ometepe, I would definitely return to this hostel!

Beautiful and comfortable hotel. Staff are warm and welcoming--and, unlike other places in Ometepe, seem to be treated fairly and equitably. Jose is awesome! Highly recommend!

Che the owner built all by himself. He is absolutely passionated about the place, Ometepe and Nicaragua itself. He tries to help everywhere.
