Very clean spacious and comfortable. It’s a beautiful luxurious hostel. Breakfast is very good with generous portions. The pool and the sun beds are perfect to relaxe. It’s a 2 min walk from the beach and 20min walk from the beginners bay surf spot. I totally recommend:)

I was in Ometepe for a short amount of time so opted to be close to the ferry. I did not expect the feeling of being so remote. The property is beautiful, well spaced out, with adorable chickens roaming around and many blooming flowers! The common and pool area is ideal to read or work. The staff take pride in ensuring the property is impecable and are super helpful. The pasta is made on site and everything is super fresh. I was obsessed with their mango passion fruit smoothy.

Everything!!! The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The room was excellent! It was clean, The Decor - simple yet elegant, The Bed (just aww), the bed sheets + pillows were clean and smelled amazing. The details of the overall hotel and layout was simply beautiful and peaceful. I will be going back for a longer stay.

Location was perfect to be right in the middle of town yet it wasn't to loud at all. Pool was a nice way to cool down and all the staff are very sweet. We enjoyed our stay. Nice hammocks in the shade when you want to relax.

    Very cool hotel, unlike any I have been too. They have a skateboard park, waterslide, waterpark, rock climbing wall and a bunch of other activities all blended into the resort. It was a pretty unique experience and not to mention the staff were super friendly and attentive, the landscaping was kept up, food was great and well priced, especially the Pizza, best pizza I have had in Latin America. Overall great stay and I recommend it to everyone!

The team organzed daily events, like a beach picnic and bonfire, complete with roasted march mellows. Surf lessons were great in a beach perfect for beginners..     There's something magical about this little beach community.

    There's something magical about this little beach community. The vibe and energy are great- restaurants and bars with excellent food & drink everywhere. Locals and tourists are friendly and helpful. We know a tiny bit of Espanol but were able to communicate with no issues, and English is spoken more prevalently than I had expected. Can't wait to visit again!!

    Great beach, not busy, clean, and beautiful. Highlight spots for us were the Bus Bar on the Beach, the restaurant at Casitas Pacifica, Comedor Mendoza, Dutchy's Deli, and the Mediterranean Cafe. We're not surfers, but the surfing looked amazing.

    Was a nice quiet island to relax and clime a vulkanisch Mountain when you like. We did a motorcycle tour. Renting one or a scooter is very affordable and the scenery is very nice. Very great food at the lakefront at Julia’s, almost opposite of ecolodge chiponge The Italian restaurant in the village on the walking street, without traffic, was great too , especially the pizza

    A lovely little town on Ometepe Island.

    A lovely little town on Ometepe Island. The locals were so nice and kind. I enjoyed riding around and just taking in all of the beautiful nature. Playa Mangoes was also a short drive from my hostel. I look forward to returning one day.

    Not the most exciting town. Very busy with trade. We have encountered very rude taxi drivers trying to charge us triple of normal fees (we knew taxi prices beforehand). Everyone we spoke to warned us not to walk around in the dark.

    Call finca mystica (FM) prior to arrival and have them set up transportation for you. Taxi to and from the ferry terminal then rent scooters or 4 wheelers or horses from FM. We rented 4 wheelers from the ferry terminal and had a long hot journey to and from FM.

    The town was nice, the only thing that could be better is the access since part of the road is still not paved yet, but it was in really good condition, I went in a Hyundai Grand i10 2015 Hatchback, and I was able to go to the Ometepe Biological Field Station, El Pital, Ojo de Agua, We also did the Istiam River Kayaking, it was awesome!!!

    It is a busy town, with lots of surfers and retired folks living or visiting. Lots of motorbikes for getting around. Some excellent restaurants along the beach front including Henry's Iguana Bar, and Maggies' Restaurant up the street. Good fish tacos at little kiosk. Great beach walks, lovely sunsets and a few hikes to do. One to the Jesus protecting the bay and the other to the lighthouse on the opposite side of bay. Wear good shoes for those.

    Great spot for a surf stay or backpackers. The rooms are comfy with private bathrooms, which are clean comfy and had good showers. the beds were absolutely outstanding and there was linen provided, sheets pillows PLUS towels! There is a self service kitchen, not incredibly big but totally functional. The place is very secure and each room locks with a keycode. 24 hour security on duty. Beach is great with surfboard rentals at $10 a day just a few doors down. The local shop is a bit sparsely stocked, but there are fruit vans that comes past every day. A few local restaurants serve good food in the evenings, but you have to book and tell them you're coming because they make limited meals per evening.

    We arrived at the end of the busy season (April 1st) which was nice, but it was hot, water had dried up, and many of the "tours" were not worth the time or money. The people were great! The food was awesome! And we loved exploring the island on our scooter. Definitely recommend Cafe Campestre! The pasta was OUTSTANDING and the people were fantastic. We didn't get a good-vibe from Chocolate Paradise - walked in - many people - nobody acknowledged our existence - so we left
