- From $110.02 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 705 reviewsOur stay at this camping site was truly memorable. The location was stunning, with a mountain on one side and the sea on the other. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The sunset was particularly magical. The entire area had a peaceful, friendly, and spacious atmosphere that felt both relaxing and well-managed. We stayed in both a large and a small cottage. The larger one was modern, spacious, and came with a lovely balcony and terrace for outdoor sitting. The smaller cottage was cozy but perfect for sleeping. Parking was conveniently located right beside the cottages, which made things easy. The common facilities were a standout — the shower and toilet areas were exceptionally clean, private, and easy to use. The common kitchen was modern, beautiful, well-maintained, and more than sufficient for the number of guests using it. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One of the best parts was the range of activities included in the price — it added so much value to the experience and made it even more enjoyable.Guest review byBishtFinland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 495 reviewsTo be honest I didn’t expected this place to be that great! During your staying, you basically live in the one of most iconic place of this country - fisherman’s houses. Everything inside is so authentic that you literally try to examine every detail of this hotel, from the windows of your room, to the houses in general. It’s also a great place if you like photography, not only due the big amount of beautiful places around, but also because the hotel itself looks incredible during the midnight sun.Guest review byJayNetherlands

Beautiful city.
Beautiful city. Went to see the lights and did not disappoint, even with cloud cover all the days we went! We downloaded a few apps suggested by AI, and they were super helpful. We used the Svipper app to travel around town with the bus, and it worked wonders for us and our wallets! Lots of things to see and do during the day as well. The botanical gardens were beautiful and super well kept. Polaria was worth the money. Restaurants are a bit expensive but great dining! Telegrafbukta and Prestvannet are great places to see the northern lights!Guest review byStefano - 10.0

Bodø isnt a common or popular tourist destination for most visitors to Norway but it has a lot to offer, from restaurants, beaches, nature hikes and excursions, northern lights, and of course not to forget Saltstraumen. It is colder than other cities in Norway as it is the windiest city in Norway, so be prepared for that.Guest review byMax - 10.0

Reine is the crown jewel of the Lofoten Islands — probably one of the most beautiful places on earth. Surrounded by dramatic peaks and crystal waters, it offers stunning views at every turn. Perfect for hiking adventures, yet still full of charm with its picture-perfect fishing villages and cozy vibe.Guest review byDenizTurkey - 8.0
We loved the beauty of the city.
We loved the beauty of the city. Tourist information staff were very friendly and helpful with information for sightseeing. War museum is excellently presented. Gondola ride to the top of Narvikfjellet is a must to see the beautiful sights from above Buses were easy to use and the plenty of shopping centres. We loved all the memorial statues, a beautiful city. We also took a ride on the Arctic Train, suggest this is a day time trip to see the amazing scenery.Guest review byChezAustralia - 10.0
A gateway to other areas like Lofoten.
A gateway to other areas like Lofoten. My recommendation is to stay further afield to the full extent you can. as things like quiet, darkness and views all improve a lot away from the airport. And once you do... it can be magic.Guest review byPeterNew Zealand - 10.0

Lovely town in the Lofoten Islands with a beautiful beach nearby (Rorvika). Great cafes and restaurants especially Klatrekafeen. Would like to have done some hiking nearby but we ran out of time and it was actually too hot!Guest review byWendyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We chose Alta, the City of Northern Lights, to "Hunt the Aurora Borealis". We were NOT disappointed. It was a magical experience. Lots of beautiful northern lights shows. We did a number of activities: night time horse drawn sleigh ride and dinner; king crab fishing experience; tour of the Ice Hotel at Sorrisniva; dog sled ride at Holmen Husky. We stayed at a canvas dome in GLOD, with the most amazing guide to see the Northern Lights. We stayed in a forest suite at Holmen Husky. The place was incredible and the way they treat the dogs will completely change your thoughts on the sport of dog sledding. They were the sweetest and happiest dogs I've ever seen. We stayed at Flatmoen Natur Lodge, which is a family owned and ran farm. Each lodge has their own private, outdoor jacuzzi so you can sit outside while the snow is falling or hope to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights.Guest review bycmayes80United States - 6.0

Leknes is not the real tourist draw in the lofoten, but is central with a lot of busses going through if you don't bring a car. The bakery near the bus station and Sakura can be recommended. We didn't try other places.Guest review byFredericusUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Tromso is in one word magical.
Tromso is in one word magical. You will miss something if you do not visit this beautiful town in Norway. Don’t miss the Arctic fjord cruise starting right opposite the hotel, a quick stop at the Ice bar, a magical walk down the high street market. Visit the little hotdog stand on the high street and try the reindeer hotdog. Take a trip across the bridge to visit the gorgeous Arctic cathedral and don’t forget to take home a little souvenir of a Nordic troll. Sit on the bench outside the Tromso cathedral and enjoy the air. The town is peppered with nice little cafes and excellent restaurants. And the people are really nice and welcoming. I do think I will visit Tromso again.Guest review byRYAN DSOUZAIndia
