Located right in the city center of Oslo, Amerikalinjen is a vibrant boutique hotel named after the 19th century cruise ship line of the same name. The location was excellent, although we had a car and it was so hard to drive in the center of Oslo! The garage was great. The bar downstairs at night, offered good drinks, but the kitchen was closed:( But we lucked out and our waitress could find us dessert, macaroons! That was so nice! The breakfast was amazing!!!!

Awesome breakfast, very clean, new, modern and quiet. You never get to hear other people walking, showering etc. Easy to reach by bus, but also ok to walk from the city center. Did I mention the breakfast was great?

This budget hotel is 270 yards from Oslo Central Train Station. It has brightly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi access. Karl Johans gate shopping street is only 500 ft away. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and kind. The experience of self reliance was pretty new and successful as you do everything by yourself like check in and check out etc.
