Hotel restaurant ia very good and should be considered as an option for dinner as well. The main pedestrian street is about 2 min walk from the hotel. Next to the hotel there is a shopping mall where one may find a super market, pharmacy and drugstore if some necessities are needed. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Strongly recommend this hotel.

Perfect breakfast- good choice of dishes, healthy and tasty ( I think I have gained few kilos - couldn't stop eating 😁) The views while having breakfast are so beautiful. We were so relaxed after several days, that when we got to the airport we realized that some of our luggage is left in the room. But hotel team helped out us quickly. There is everything under control, you just come and relax 🌼 Definitely we will choose only this hotel next time.

Very small and cozy place. The view is spectacular! You can feel peace around. Supermarket is quite far but if you have a car is no problem.Also if you need some shopping you can go to Moa which is 15 min by car. There's a ferry and a bus stop. My rating reflects BOOKING.com which is the worst agent can be. I did not show up due to personal reasons however BOOKING deduct the full payment violating what was agreed on. Ålesund, per se, is not a major attraction.
Ålesund, per se, is not a major attraction. However, this nice city is an excellent starting point to explore the surroundings spectacular fjords, drive the Atlantic road, and eventually go to other regions. That was what we did and it went extremely well. For us Stranda was a point of sleeping over, while doing tours in the area. There was 2 options of restaurants, so it was possible to get a dinner. A very pretty town and setting.
A very pretty town and setting. Town mostly rebuilt following devastating fire in 1904, so, many building have Art Nouveau influence. Art Nouveau and Alesund museum both worth a visit. A very walkable small city. Really enjoyed our two days here.Guest review byEdwinaAustralia
