I always wanted to stay at this hotel in Voss because it's right next to the train station and gondola building, in the middle of the action. Easy checkin and checkout, front desk very friendly. Got a room with city view, other way from the train tracks. Great room size and confortable beds. The mattress was great. The bathroom was big and the shower worked just fine. Hot water any time of the day/night. Breakfast was the best part. They have a great buffet with everything: hot, cold, fruits, gluten free, sweets. All kinds of beverages in a very large saloon with tables that have views everywhere. I liked the breakfast in particular. Right outside you have the bus station and a nice view of the water front. I will choose this hotel again.

Excellent location and view. Historic hotel. The family is still in management after 6 generations. The owner came to our table at dinner told the story of the hotel. She was very kind and nice. The food at the bar, nice cold beer, wide selection of wine. Live music at the bar.

Best service! The boss and staff are excellent! I had an eye infection and the boss (I think it was) gave me eyewash, which was very helpful, the next day I had no eye issue. On top of that, they helped with washing a lot of clothes and give me access to use the washing facilities. Moreover, access to hot water to drink and coffee was available at all times, the staff showed us around and helped us with pretty much anything. In addition, the hotel is close to the lake and has beautiful surroundings, we had many geese outside our window. Furthermore, the hotel has free parking which is fantastic.
