Providing mountain views, Serenity Lodge in Marahau provides accommodation and a garden. Complimentary WiFi is available. A balcony with garden views is offered in all units. Perhaps the most heartwarming place I have ever stayed at. Serenity Lodge is hidden away up on a hill off the main road, and is able to marry the rustic charms of Abel Tasman with stylish modernity in its interior design. Extraordinarily clean and cosy, we enjoyed our privacy when we needed it and the presence of other guests when we wanted to. The shared facilities were always spanking clean as well, and I enjoyed the little touches of chocolates by the bedside. What made Serenity Lodge stands out the most will probably be the amazing hospitality of Lisa and Ben. They were always cheerful and helpful, and we enjoyed the little conversations we had with them over beers or the breakfast table. Ben is a genius baker, and makes the best jams I have ever tasted in my life, and Lisa makes amazing puns. Their love for nature and New Zealand was infectious. It was hard to say goodbye, and we really wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely recommend this place if you stay at Abel Tasman, or better yet, please visit NZ just to stay at Serenity Lodge.
Adventure Inn Marahau offers accommodation in Marahau. Among the various facilities of this property are barbecue facilities, a garden and a shared lounge. It is clean and it is in a perfect location for visits at the abel tasman. We hope to come back one day!

Situated in Marahau, Kanuka Ridge Lodge and Backpackers is a short drive to the beach, the cafes, restaurants and the start of the Abel Tasman National Park. Really nice hosts, I arrived late and they were able to book me a watertaxi thee day after. Really nice location, away from the center but still very close.

The views from the property are absolutely spectacular. It is also impeccably decorated and furnished, and a really wonderful place to relax after activities in Abel Tasman National Park. The room was spacious, and very clean and comfortable. There is a wonderful patio with views of Tasman Sea, and a great open plan kitchen/dining/living area - with books and board games to borrow. Getting to the property does require a car, as it is about a 10 minute drive from Kaiteriteri and Marahau, but there is ample parking space.

I stayed in Serenity Lodge one night and it was a very really nice place. It is very close to Abel Tasman National Park and very close to the village. Lisa and Ben are very nice and perfect hosts. I felt as my own home. The home is really beatiful, decorated in modern style with many details. I loved all the house. The breakfast was also amazing. On the whole, I would stay without any doubt again.

A collection of apartments and studios set in New Zealand bush close to the Abel Tasman National Park. As with many of these eco resorts the accommodation itself is similar to a good motel, but the restaurant, spa and service lift the experience to a different level. Very friendly and helpful staff plus excellent vegetarian dishes. And the view and setting take some beating. Good WiFi.

The excellent location at the port of departure for boat excursions to Abel Tasman National Park. Spacious one level small house in a garden, on a small hill, with private terrace offering a panoramic sea view. Close to the beach. Impeccably clean. Quiet atmosphere. Amiability and helpfulness of hosts. The Wifi was not charged as expected.

Rob and the staff at Ocean View Chalets were very friendly and helpful. The chalet was comfortable clean and had a beautiful view across the bay to Abel Tasman National Park, Adele island and along the coast to Nelson. Bookings for the water taxi and the local restaurant were organised for us. Nothing was too much trouble.

Good place to stay right at the entrance to Abel Tasman National Park. We stayed in a double room, which is essentially a glass fronted shipping container and had everything we needed. Could see people finishing the track from our room. Large shared kitchen with plenty of facilities and a huge fire.
