Fabulous and gloria new hotel. The rooms are impeccable. Comfortable bed, beautiful linens, very comfortable furniture, spacious and a desk big enough to use. Lots of closet space and drawers ( if you want to unpack your luggage. Great bathroom. And the tickets for a free drink ( or coffee) get you a top rail drink happily served by friendly staff. G&T with Hendrick’s gin and Fever Few tonic. It’s a modern look in the rooms all shades of grey ( but not 50 Shades of Grey) . Front desk staff friendly and helpful.

The facility is new with stylish finishing. We stayed at the property twice during our NZ trip. The staff was accommodating, and assisted us with our luggage storage while we went on the TransAlpine tour package. It is a 10 mins walk to Westfield shopping centre. All the three rooms we have stayed had a kitchenettes, with sufficient cooking tools for a light meal. Bed was comfortable.

Everything about our stay was lovely! The staff were all very welcoming and nice. The room was great, really clean, spacious and super comfy. We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious. We wished we could have stayed longer. If we make it back to Christchurch, we will stay here again!

    We stayed 3 nights in total. 2 at the beginning of our trip and one at the end (3 weeks afterwards) and were very happy in both times. The couple running is extremely nice. The woman did a lot to try and help us in different situations, storing our luggage, helping us when we needed ad hock place to stay etcetera. The room is spacious, clean and has all the necessities in the kitchen, including a toaster and French press! will definitely come back.

    It's really near to most places. Only a few minutes drive to the mall. It has parking on the property. The staff are really nice. We got a room that had cooking facilities, pots and pans and plates were all provided. You get milk in the fridge.

    I really enjoyed my stay in Christchurch.

    I really enjoyed my stay in Christchurch. We stayed in the center of town and found it a very pleasant area to walk around - gardens, cafes, river walk, historical buildings etc. and also took the time to go hiking in the Port Hills (great views) and to visit Willowbank wildlife reserve (a very children friendly place for a stroll - with both native and non-native wildlife on display (the eels definitely enjoy being fed!) Outside the town, I recommend the Pegasus winery for a delightful tasting and picnic lunch. The setting is just beautiful

    Opuke Thermal Pools & Spa are a must see, must do. World class! The mountains are beautiful. If you have transport, close by is Ashburton, Lake Coleridge and much more. The information centre in Methven, "I-Hub" is a wealth of information and things to do. Off the beaten track, an alive, looked after, vibrant small town NZ with genuine charm and a smile. My wife and I loved it, we will be back.

    Pleasant and friendly country city with easy access and roads. Quality shopping and food outlets. Close to rivers, lake and mountains and handy on why to Dunedin. Two very interesting museum - aviation and old world. The park gardens are superb for walks and picnic.

    Luxurious and welcoming.

    Luxurious and welcoming. The restaurant at Terrace Downs was exceptional. Highly recommend the Mt Cook Salmon main. Extensive wine selection and great service. Would love to have stayed longer as there is so many exciting activities to choose from.

    Springfield is only an hour from Christchurch yet so close...

    Springfield is only an hour from Christchurch yet so close to great scenery for drives and many sporting activities including Mt Hutt Ski Fields plus others. Arthur's Pass is a fabulous drive, Rakaia Gorge is beautiful, the drive to Coleridge Power Station, at the back of Mt Hutt is very scenic. The town of Methven is not far away. And there is so much more to see. Springfield is a fabulous base for so much to do and see!

    On our way back home to Queenstown, my husband was so tired...

    On our way back home to Queenstown, my husband was so tired so we decided to do a last minute booking, was only one room left and we were lucky to get it. The property manager was so kind and very helpful, room was great all we needed a great bed and easy location to drive out.     Lincoln has many different eateries and a supermarket. Rolleston, a very large town is a few kilometers away. Great access to the Little River Rail Trail for walkers/cyclers. Dedicated bike/walking trail from Lincoln to Rolleston. Peaceful town, well worth staying for a restful break.

    Very relaxing area with many outdoor activities to do. Great for families to walk around Castle Hill around the rock formations or fishing along the rivers and plenty of different walks around the amazing areas. There were mountain biking trails up Porters with the team at Porter's lodge able to drive you back up to the top of the trails. Definitely keen to get back over to explore some more.

    We chose Darfield because we were doing some research nearby. Darfield is perfectly located to find agricultural supplies and outdoor clothing which we needed. Darfield, just 35km from Christchurch, links all routes also to.the south and west and north. Like many south island small towns, Darfield has a sense of civic pride and is easy to navigate around or through.
