Omigosh - the dinner was fabulous!!!! And breakfast was pretty good too.

This place is truly a hidden gem. The rooms are lovely and the view is amazing. Everything was very clean and the hosts are very friendly. There is a communal kitchen and we could use the terrace for a small bbq. Would absolutely recommend staying here. When you rent more rooms, it also perfect for small groups of people.

Situated in Marahau, Kanuka Ridge Lodge is a short drive to the beach, the cafes, restaurants and the start of the Abel Tasman National Park. Free unlimited WiFi and private parking. Very nice, clean and quiet place. We really felt welcome! The bed was very confortable, the kitchen was perfect for cooking a lot of kitchen tools and relaxing atmosphere. We will probably be back for our next hike trip in Abel Tasman.

From £106 per nightI don't understand how this place has only 7,3. It's located 50m from a beach and near the Abel Tasman national park. Paul and Michelle were one of the nicest people I met in New Zealand. He gave us many recommendations for places to visit nearby. The room was cozy and had everything we needed. I was sceptical about the outdoor bathroom room but it was a nice and special experience.

He Friendly received us at the hotel, gave us precious advise and on top gave us a ride to the start of the trail and Let my motorbike on his propriety meanwhile we did the walk.. If wasn't enough, he made room for us when we came back and had no place for staying. Totally recommend.

We would have loved to stay longer, the place if very peaceful and surrounded by nature (loved the cat!), for us was a good point to start our Abel Tasman tour in Kaiteriteri on the next day. THe apartment was bigger than I thought, very cleaned and had all the comforts.

After a few days hiking and camping in Abel Tasman we had the most wonderful stay. Spent the afternoon in the garden soaking up the views with lots of bird life. It was a nice easy walk into Mapua. The apartment is beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious and enjoyed this again with the wonderful view. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.
