Beautiful desert views, great facilities and friendly staff. Not a large camp, which is what we were looking for. Must do the dune bashing for amazing sunset views in the dunes!

The property is big and good for big families. Hospitality and the reception is very good and clearly explained about the breakfast, dinner charges and also other activities. Friendly staff and very well supported. Facilities like outdoor swimming pool, outdoor sitting area, cooking area all very good. Sunrise at the desert was excellent and adventure drive from the very friendly driver.

This was a great way to get a bit deeper into the dune sea and enjoy a world away from the usual urban hustle-bustle. There was only one other couple there on the night I stayed. The food was great and watching the sunset over the dunes was spectacular. They also arranged a camel ride at the closer-in camp, and this was also a new experience that I was looking to have while in the desert.

The property was very clean and the caretaker (Mr. Sajjad) was very helpful. The property is about 200 meters away from the sand dunes. The views from the property during the morning and night are equally spectacular. There is a road for cars that are NOT 4x4 to reach the property as well. However, it’s best to contact the owner for guidance. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The surroundings are clean. The owner was very friendly and polite. We loved our stay!

Stars Gate Camp is a recently renovated luxury tent in Al Wāşil where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities.

The camp location is unbeatable, sitting right on top of the dunes with breathtaking views. The staff made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Gautam, who was incredibly attentive to all our needs and made sure we got the room with the most spectacular view in the camp.
