It is on a hill overlooking the water and Isla Bastimentos Breakfast is included in your stay. Lunch dinner and beverages are available at a very reasonable price. The lodge is an eco style lodge surrounded by jungle. Though there are no hiking trails through the jungle you are serenaded by the sounds of birds. Kayaks, SUP and snorkeling equipment is available for your use. Your host and their children are wonderful and will do anything to make your stay a pleasant and wonderful experience. Things to know, the lodge is off the grid with good WiFi and does not have AC, but we were comfortable with our open windows and ceiling fan. The lodge accepts credit cards, but tours and water taxis are cash only so bring US dollars. Side trips to Red Frog Beach and Green Acres Chocolate are a must. Pack insect repellent and anti-itch cream.

The atmosphere of this place, and being over the water was wonderful! Loved our room and deck that were spacious, and comfortable with great views. A delicious breakfast served each morning. We enjoyed using a kayak to paddle around. The owners were very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful.

This was the most perfect hotel I’ve ever stayed at- it was like he stayed in each suite to make sure everything was comfortable. Benoit was an amazing host. He was very calm and created a relaxing environment. The decor was gorgeous and tastefully executed. Food was fantastic which was prepared by him and his wife - they make a great duo. Benoit offers all the services and tours you need, without being pushy. This place could not be any cleaner - 10s all around!

You could walk to Old banks for lunch and it was a short boat ride for many places. We spend an awesome day at Red Frog beach and Polo beach. Loved the atmosphere of the place and homecooked meals.

Hostal Hansi is in Bocas del Toro, 17 minutes' walk from El Istmito Beach. It is 50 meters from the docks. All rooms are private, some have a terrace, TV, air conditioning and hot water. The place is close to everything and it feels like a house. The staff is great they keep the house totally organized, clean and helped us with information we needed to make our activities. Worthy to stay with them.

We stayed in an over-the-water bungalow. It was roomy, clean, and had a fabulous view of the bay. It was quiet even though it was on a main road. Property was well maintained.
