Akwaba lodge is located at the middle of Isla Solarte about a 10 minute boat ride ($10/person) from Bocas del Toro. It is on a hill overlooking the water and Isla Bastimentos Breakfast is included in your stay. Lunch dinner and beverages are available at a very reasonable price. The lodge is an eco style lodge surrounded by jungle. Though there are no hiking trails through the jungle you are serenaded by the sounds of birds. Kayaks, SUP and snorkeling equipment is available for your use. Your host and their children are wonderful and will do anything to make your stay a pleasant and wonderful experience. Things to know, the lodge is off the grid with good WiFi and does not have AC, but we were comfortable with our open windows and ceiling fan. The lodge accepts credit cards, but tours and water taxis are cash only so bring US dollars. Side trips to Red Frog Beach and Green Acres Chocolate are a must. Pack insect repellent and anti-itch cream.

Located in Bastimentos, Ataraxia has free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. There's a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries.

Great lodge, very clean, spacious and well equipped. Owners Pierre and Manou along with the rest of their staff are very friendly and always read to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Breakfasts and dinners are very good and offered in a beautiful restaurant with an amazing view over the property and island. All attractions are within short boat ride from the lodge.

La Brisa del Mar offers accommodations in Bastimentos, a 6-minute walk from Carenero Noreste Beach. There's a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay.

Located in Bastimentos, Pure Roots provides sea views and free WiFi, a 11-minute walk from Carenero Noreste Beach and 1.5 miles from Carenero Beach.

Pure Roots is a magical place! You are in the jungle and see all kinds of birds and wildlife, but you still have all of your comforts, like a nice bed, a beautiful relaxing space with a deck and hammock, a clean bathroom and hot shower. Jen cooks amazing dishes and always has the coffee on when you arrive for breakfast. She accommodates your dietary needs and the food includes lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. You can even watch her machete a fresh coconut for you to drink from, to get an electrolyte boost! I stayed for 5 nights.

Coral Wing Casitas offers accommodations in Bastimentos. Guests staying at this apartment have access to free Wifi and a balcony. Guests can access the apartment via private entrance.

Location was fabulous. Lots of windows with gorgeous views of wayer. Breakfast delivered to the room. We used the free kayaks. Snorkeling in front of the cabin was great. JJ was a wonderful host.

It had its own nature reserve which was beautiful. Everything about this place is stunning. The receptionist was very helpful and so friendly. We nearly missed our 12pm boat from Boca's del Toro due to our poor planning. The receptionist rushed to help us and called a friend with a very fast boat! We made it just in time. Would definitely stay here again!

Very pretty location among large tropical trees. Carmen and Marcel are incredible hosts. For four days you feel like part of a family with the hosts and other guests. The breakfast is large and flavorful and the dinners combine great food with fun company. We also had two sloths hanging out in the nearby trees.
