Green House has become my home away from home. Celmita and Jorge are the most wonderful hosts you can imagine. I travel a lot and I have never experienced such kind and caring thoughtfulness from a hotel as I have here! They go out of their way to be sure you have everything to be happy and comfortable. Jorge picked me up from the airport and gave me advice about restaurants in town and places to go. I was on a specific diet and they arranged my specific breakfast to what my goals were without even telling me! The breakfast is healthy and the service is wonderful. The grounds of the hotel are nature-themed with trees, bushes, garden, and wild birds are always visiting. There are monkeys in the trees which I saw right outside my window! The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable and the windows are tinted quite nicely for privacy and maybe so birds don't fly into them?! I was able to work on my laptop with strong wifi in quiet and air-conditioned comfort. They also allowed me to check out a few hours late which helped me tremendously! The peaceful location is an easy 10 minute walk or a 5 sole mototaxi to downtown. Jorge and Celmita are the definition of hospitality; I will definitely be back here someday! Muchas gracias!! <3

The hotel staff is amazing. Just a wonderful group of people who went above and beyond to make sure my stay was great. The breakfast was delicious with multiple options to choose each day. The location was great as well, 5 minutes walking distance to city center, bars and shops.

    It's an interesting but busy and noisy city.

    It's an interesting but busy and noisy city. The best parts are OUTSIDE the city. Waterfalls, mountains, scenic views, and the Blue Lake (Laguna Azul) are all highlights. Age central Plaza (Plaza de Armas) has recently been renovated and is spectacular now!

    It's a nice city but not as amazing as others in Peru. Plenty to do if you're young and adventurous, and some good attractions nearby including the town of Llamas and its Castle and several waterfalls. A lot of excellent restaurants and the "Plaza de Armas" (town square) is brand new and very impressive. The city is noisy, however, and the roads are a mess. Lots of stray dogs, also, which is a problem all over Peru. (Watch out for poop on the sidewalks!)
