Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu. The property has a swimming pool and spa. This was our second time to go to this hotel. I like so much the rooms, the huge common spaces and the wellness. The coffee machine in the room is a real extra. We traveld to Machu Picchu with the train (from the hotel’s train station) - it’s very comfy.

Wonderful, I can't wait to return. We live locally and just stayed one night as a staycation. This boutique hotel is stunning with so much attention to detail, beautifully cared-for gardens, a stunning swimming pool, and a lovely spa. Such a special place! I read in advance that there is no restaurant (just breakfast) therefore we prepared in advance, I'd recommend doing that or speaking with the staff before arrival about what could be available because you may not want to leave until check out!

For the included breakfast, guests can choose an “a la carte” option in addition to the breakfast buffet. The restaurant is open for dinner, with both Peruvian and international favorites, and there is also a bar/café with indoor and outdoor seating open all-day. Free WIFI is available in common areas and in the rooms. An amazing oasis in the heart of the sacred valley. The rooms were comfy and classy - and ours had an outstanding view

Our Spa Pumacahua Bath House is a colonial house from the seventeenth century located on one side of the hotel’s corn terraces. Rescued by our restoration and archeology team, it contains the hotel Spa where our guests can enjoy massages, the swimming pool, hot tubs and saunas. Beautiful property and great staff. We didn’t like much the food choices except at breakfast.
