0Absolutely perfected service. Dial zero and each time made me shockingly happy. Not just no resistance but immediate snap fingers response to any request. The suite where we stayed is the best room, in the best hotel I've ever stayed at (I'm American and have been to high end hotels in big cities, and Vegas). Never too crowded, absolutely top notch in every way. They even laid out roses in a special way because it was my honeymoon, and brought us a plate of special dessert for that same reason.

Safe. Walking or strolling at 12 midnight and it’s really safe. If that was Manila, daaaaang, I’d have lost items or my life. One thing I found amazing, when people reserved tables at fast-food chains or restos, they place their phones. Medium sized city to forget Manila for a few days. Tagum is not crowded, is cleaner, not so polluted, there is Nature very close to the city and the rivers are clean. The food is great, mostly the seafood, so fresh, tasty and affordable. Even home delivery food has good quality, much better than in Metro Manila for the same price or sometimes less. Neighbors are respectful, friendly, clean and quiet. They do not go annoying each other as in Manila. I haven't been since 2012. Downtown Davao is really crowded now. I love Tagum city. I was there for a family reunion. I love travelling with my relatives seeing the beauty of nature. Samal is a quaint and beautiful island. There are some nice places like the Monfort Bat Sanctuary and the Giant Clam Conservancy. I went to the white sand beach for swimming. Being in a channel, the current was swift so I couldn't really go out beyond the swimming area, and it suddenly gets deep as well. I noticed that there is no small convenient stores or just a quick facilities to buy little things in the corner or along the streets. I needed to make a list of all my daily needs before I go back to the place or I have to do a quick run to the convenient store or groceries to buy bags of goodies for my entire stay, or order a quick meal via grab or other facilities.
