The location is very convenient with just 5-8 mins trip from the airport by trike or hotel service & 5-min walk from the beach where different restaurants are located. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and the full glass windows show a calming view of trees that lull you to sleep as they sway with the wind. I was even woken up by monkeys playing the next morning! Should’ve booked a longer stay but I’m definitely looking forward to staying here again once the hotel is finished!

PortugalThis place is amazing! If you're looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful to relax, then this is it. The infinity pool is beautiful (and cleaned daily), and the view is incredible. The gardens are very cute, and its great that all of the cabins are made from sustainable materials. They run pretty much off grid with solar power, so it's not just "Eco" in name. They also grow most of their own vegetable which is great.
I was a bit worried by the other reviews mentioning the high price of the food, but having tried it, I totally get it. It's actually not so high if you consider the quality of the food (very good cooks!) and the fact its all organic and either grown onsite or locally sourced. I would just say that there really are no other options nearby, so you have to eat all meals here, so because of that it might not be an option to stay here if you are travelling on a very tight budget.
All in all though, I would highly recommend!

PhilippinesThe location is honestly perfect. Everything is literally walking distance like the shops, coffee places, even the biggest grocery store in El Nido, plus all the bars. I even opted to just walk to the island-hopping pickup point at the dock, and it was super quick and convenient. And the Canopy walk is just across the street from the hotel.
Breakfast was so good. Having breakfast on the rooftop made it even better. The cliff view is stunning and such a refreshing way to start the day.
They’re still on soft opening so not all facilities are up yet, but the staff mentioned that the gym and spa are opening soon. Definitely something to look forward to when I come back but honestly, the rooftop pool already makes the stay worth it. The Cliff views are amazing and you really get to appreciate El Nido from up there.
Service was superb. Every staff member I met was super friendly and accommodating.
The room was really comfortable too, and I loved having a big smart TV to relax with after a long day of exploring.
Overall, I had a wonderful stay and I’m already excited to return.

The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. My room was spotless, well maintained, and very comfortable. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
Overall, it’s a beautiful property with excellent service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay.

WE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT OUR STAY AT EL NIDO LAGEN ISLAND! it was so organized from the airport transportation to the boat- our guide Rowell was so accommodating and informative. Rowell also did an awesome job with our tours (by the way that the reaper includes as complementary- which consist of island hoping snorkeling and lagoons)making it so much fun! Approaching Lagen island is so breathtaking. Our stay was very comfortable, clean, Serene, the food was amazing! The staff from the front desk to the servers to the chef and the managers- everyone had exceptional customer service! Very down to earth staff and super friendly!! Our stay at Lagen Island will always be one of the most memorable ones.

The staff was awsome and in our first hour we found a tricycle driver that was more than helpful in showing us everything that Puerto Princesa had to offer.That then became our main mode of transportation,,the experience of seeing through a local was fantastic,and he also bragged about the hotel to us..Our only regret was not scheduling more time to visit the area,,,meaning we will be returning..Look for tricycle driver Ryan Rosales...highly recomended......

The property was secluded in a little tiny inlet. The villa where we stayed has a beach front and waking up with the sunrise and the beach by the window/door is priceless. The staff, Raymond, Jelwin, Arnel from the food service were amazing and attentive, always anticipating our needs. We felt so special. The moment we arrived, they set our bed with greetings for our anniversary celebration. The bell desk especially, Jay, was always pleasant and helpful. All the staff there were always friendly, pleasant and welcoming.

The hotel is AMAZING. the jurney from the moment we landed to the airport all the way to our room in this private island was superb. you have coral reefs, manaties, fish, turtles and all sorts of marine life just a couple of meters away from the beach. We took diving lessons there and it was amazing but you can also snorkel for free and it is totally worth it. one of the best experiences ever

The pool was not available during our stay but we knew that before arriving. We had the panorama room and it was perfect. However use of jacuzzi is paid—P8000 for two hours. That part is ridiculous.

The damage from the previous typoons is still present. There are numerous bars, I recommend the Pacifico Bar, they have Octoberfest sized mugs to hold the Red Horse Beer. It is 50 Pesos each way from the hotel to town and back. On the island tours, the outhouses are the absolute bare minimum, a toilet, no seat, no tank, no TP, a bucket and a ladle and no sink. Wear grippy water shoes, the stairs are slippery. Go see the Coral Garden, elsewhere all the other fish are <5" and no coral. Unless you go to the the Coral Garden, the crystal kayak is a waste of money. Still I had a great time, the staff did an amazing job, life is an adventure!

Need to have more efficient traffic management during peak hours. The LGU should improve, sustain and maintain infrastructure esp the port and the walkway.. When we went to the port to buy streetfood the stalls are sitting in rough ground and very muddy after rain. It is not good to see for visitors to walk around and wondering where tourism tax are spent for? More people will have a fruitful stay in the city if the place is worth staying for few more days befire heading to E Nido and other popular places..

Absolutely! San Vicente really flies under the radar compared to El Nido and Coron, but that’s part of its charm. It’s less crowded, more laid-back, and still boasts those stunning, unspoiled beaches—especially the 14-kilometer Long Beach, which feels like a hidden gem.
The slower pace and warm, genuine hospitality from the locals really give it that authentic "island life" vibe. It’s perfect for people looking to relax, connect with nature, and avoid the more tourist-heavy scenes. Some even say it’s what El Nido felt like 10 or 15 years ago.

If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit,...
If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit, put this one on your list. It's relatively uncrowded, the people are very pleasant and the vistas are jaw dropping.
If you are a diver, and have an interest in WWII, you will find an incredible 11 Japanese wrecks to dive. I'd recommend Pirate Divers, they are very professional and very conservative when it comes to evaluating risks. They also know the wrecks like their second home.
Coron is a bustling town with good food and pleasant people, but the beauty of the island is the back country. I liked it enough in December that I'm returning in February.
To get around, I'd suggest renting a scooter. If you are new to powered two wheel vehicles stay out of Coron, and pay attention to the roads, there are some surprisingly tight turns. Otherwise, since it is relatively uncrowded you should be fine.

The main reason to visit was to Tour the Underground River , One of the 7 Nature Wonders of the World .
Was relaxing . Mid November coming into Dry season .

Pool Bar ,,Swim upto for a drink or eat
Beach Front chairs to relax in
Restaurant Beachfront views , Nice selection of meals
nice staff and pleasant . doing their best to look after you

A delightful quiet backwater and so far less developed town.
A delightful quiet backwater and so far less developed town. The beaches were beautiful and mostly clean. The town has plenty of activities to offer and places to eat. The whole place is walkable but you may want a Tuktuk or moped to visit further beaches.

If you intend to visit Palawan you need to be more informed...
If you intend to visit Palawan you need to be more informed than I was. The Philippines are a poor country. Accommodation is cheap and as such you get what you paid for - No hot water, some cockroaches, you cannot swim in the water because of the jellyfish, plenty of sandflies and no shop to get any relief medication. There is no way to move around unless you organize transfers that cost you as much as your accommodation. A must see if you would like to see the culture. We were unable to snorkel due to weather

I really enjoyed town, but nacpan and duli area also nice places to stay!
Lio is another nice spot to stay.
Town is good if you like going out to eat, and see a lot of things
But staying in lio, nacpan or duli is also nice if you want a more peaceful, quiet time. even sibaltan would be nice (check out the manta rays if you dive)

The wow factor was definitely at Twin Lagoons and Kayangan Lake. Loved swimming and snorkelling although coming from Australia, the corals and fish were a bit underwhelming. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in Coron Town. We especially liked the french restaurant Armihan Bistro, Poco Deli (next door to Epic Cafe) and Le Voyage. All catered for Gluten Free meals as well. Tuk Tuks are plentiful and easy to catch. 50 pesos for 2 peoples to take you anywhere within the town boundaries. We also walked to the hilltop lookout Mt Tapayas .. but beware, there's 720 steps to climb to get to the top from the car park!!!
