We had a clean, well-appointed and very comfortable room with modern amenities and a filtered water station on our floor, meaning we could avoid continually buying bottled water and just fill our own water bottles, which we really appreciated. The biggest highlight of our stay was the staff - everyone at H is fantastic from the airport greeting staff to the drivers and cleaners. Special mention to the incredible Sky, who was so energetic and friendly and full of recommendations and advice about the best way to organise our El Nido tour experiences. It was particularly helped that he had done a lot of the tours himself and could show us his own photos and share his own ideas about what we might like. He frequently checked in on how our stay was going, spent lots of time with us coordinating our activities, and was very responsive via the WhatsApp when we had questions. He deserves a raise, as does everyone here - they work so hard and so well to make sure guests have a great time! The rooftop bar and on-site restaurant are also both friendly, fresh and great value. This is a wonderful hotel, thanks so much for a brilliant stay!

I LOVE the cleanliness of the room, the heated toilet seat, the kitchen with complete tools and utensils, and especially the super helpful staff. They are very kind and accommodating, and very prompt with all our needs.
The location was GREAT. It's just 3 mins away from the airport and it's like a compound of hotels and restaurants. Finding a place to eat is so easy with so many options. And if you're vegan or vegetarian, you have a lot of choices around the hotel. They serve only vegan and vegetarian breakfast in the hotel, btw.
Our room (a loft) is very spacious. Beds are very comfortable. Housekeeping also cleans every day. All in all it was a great stay for our family.

She ensured we had transport to and from the airport, was there to greet us and also farewell us, shared her knowledge of the best places to see on the island, and gave us great recommendations for food and dining. She hooked us with driver Junjun who was an absolute legend. No matter how many times we went back and forth, he was there to take us. The bed was incredibly comfy, and the pillows were to die for. The room was very quiet even though there were beach clubs nearby. It was a 5-8 minute Tuktuk ride to the main El Nido strip. We had plenty of snacks, water and alcohol in the fridge. Our washing was done in under 24 hours, and was still warm when we got it back. The room was very private, and it honestly felt luxurious with a touch is island living. The location is SUPERB! Maybe 30 meters from Panorama Beach club, you can't get much better than that. Amelia, we loved staying at your accommodation and will be recommending it to everyone coming to El Nido. Thank you so much!!!

Literally everything ❤️. The place is unique, located in an incredible island, 20 min boat ride from El Nido Port. First, the way from the airport from the hotel was great, super easy and comfortable. Then, we really loved the food they served in the restaurant (different options and all were great). Then, if you are looking for island hoping or scuba diving , you can already book the tours directly in the hotel. Finally, staff was the best. Always trying to help, assist you or making a recommendation. Special thanks to Pirlyn that was always there to help us with our tours and also to Remar, our tour guide for island hoping looking up for new places regardless of the weather. Once in a lifetime experience for us

WE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT OUR STAY AT EL NIDO LAGEN ISLAND! it was so organized from the airport transportation to the boat- our guide Rowell was so accommodating and informative. Rowell also did an awesome job with our tours (by the way that the reaper includes as complementary- which consist of island hoping snorkeling and lagoons)making it so much fun! Approaching Lagen island is so breathtaking. Our stay was very comfortable, clean, Serene, the food was amazing! The staff from the front desk to the servers to the chef and the managers- everyone had exceptional customer service! Very down to earth staff and super friendly!! Our stay at Lagen Island will always be one of the most memorable ones.

This was our favorite place we stayed in the Philippines. The staff was really lovely. The hotel had so many lovely little extras which set it apart, like fresh fruit drinks in the fridge, turndown service, towels to borrow during daily outings, etc. The pools were great, the spa treatment we had was top-notch, the food in the restaurant was great (I especially want to thank Ian, the F&B Head, who checked in on us every day, and extended great hospitality) and the cocktails at the bar were also excellent. We stayed for a week, and would definitely stay here again if we come back to Coron!

The view and location was spectacular. You’ll get the sunrise and sunset view. Plus, if you’re fortunate you can spot a black tip shark (non-aggressive) in some parts of the beach as you snorkel.
Aside from these, the staff were exceptional. They were warm and helpful. Special mention to our lovely tour guides, Anton and Andrew, who took special care to our toddler so we were able to snorkel during the trips.
Overall, it was a lovely experience and you will definitely go back here.

The hotel is AMAZING. the jurney from the moment we landed to the airport all the way to our room in this private island was superb. you have coral reefs, manaties, fish, turtles and all sorts of marine life just a couple of meters away from the beach. We took diving lessons there and it was amazing but you can also snorkel for free and it is totally worth it. one of the best experiences ever

The damage from the previous typoons is still present. There are numerous bars, I recommend the Pacifico Bar, they have Octoberfest sized mugs to hold the Red Horse Beer. It is 50 Pesos each way from the hotel to town and back. On the island tours, the outhouses are the absolute bare minimum, a toilet, no seat, no tank, no TP, a bucket and a ladle and no sink. Wear grippy water shoes, the stairs are slippery. Go see the Coral Garden, elsewhere all the other fish are <5" and no coral. Unless you go to the the Coral Garden, the crystal kayak is a waste of money. Still I had a great time, the staff did an amazing job, life is an adventure!

Need to have more efficient traffic management during peak hours. The LGU should improve, sustain and maintain infrastructure esp the port and the walkway.. When we went to the port to buy streetfood the stalls are sitting in rough ground and very muddy after rain. It is not good to see for visitors to walk around and wondering where tourism tax are spent for? More people will have a fruitful stay in the city if the place is worth staying for few more days befire heading to E Nido and other popular places..

Absolutely! San Vicente really flies under the radar compared to El Nido and Coron, but that’s part of its charm. It’s less crowded, more laid-back, and still boasts those stunning, unspoiled beaches—especially the 14-kilometer Long Beach, which feels like a hidden gem.
The slower pace and warm, genuine hospitality from the locals really give it that authentic "island life" vibe. It’s perfect for people looking to relax, connect with nature, and avoid the more tourist-heavy scenes. Some even say it’s what El Nido felt like 10 or 15 years ago.

If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit, put this one on your list. It's relatively uncrowded, the people are very pleasant and the vistas are jaw dropping.
If you are a diver, and have an interest in WWII, you will find an incredible 11 Japanese wrecks to dive. I'd recommend Pirate Divers, they are very professional and very conservative when it comes to evaluating risks. They also know the wrecks like their second home.
Coron is a bustling town with good food and pleasant people, but the beauty of the island is the back country. I liked it enough in December that I'm returning in February.
To get around, I'd suggest renting a scooter. If you are new to powered two wheel vehicles stay out of Coron, and pay attention to the roads, there are some surprisingly tight turns. Otherwise, since it is relatively uncrowded you should be fine.

Pool Bar ,,Swim upto for a drink or eat

A delightful quiet backwater and so far less developed town. The beaches were beautiful and mostly clean. The town has plenty of activities to offer and places to eat. The whole place is walkable but you may want a Tuktuk or moped to visit further beaches.

If you intend to visit Palawan you need to be more informed than I was. The Philippines are a poor country. Accommodation is cheap and as such you get what you paid for - No hot water, some cockroaches, you cannot swim in the water because of the jellyfish, plenty of sandflies and no shop to get any relief medication. There is no way to move around unless you organize transfers that cost you as much as your accommodation. A must see if you would like to see the culture. We were unable to snorkel due to weather

I really enjoyed town, but nacpan and duli area also nice places to stay!
Lio is another nice spot to stay.
Town is good if you like going out to eat, and see a lot of things
But staying in lio, nacpan or duli is also nice if you want a more peaceful, quiet time. even sibaltan would be nice (check out the manta rays if you dive)

The wow factor was definitely at Twin Lagoons and Kayangan Lake. Loved swimming and snorkelling although coming from Australia, the corals and fish were a bit underwhelming. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in Coron Town. We especially liked the french restaurant Armihan Bistro, Poco Deli (next door to Epic Cafe) and Le Voyage. All catered for Gluten Free meals as well. Tuk Tuks are plentiful and easy to catch. 50 pesos for 2 peoples to take you anywhere within the town boundaries. We also walked to the hilltop lookout Mt Tapayas .. but beware, there's 720 steps to climb to get to the top from the car park!!!
