Stylish cozy and modern rooms (the beds are SO comfortable), rooftop bar with great views and cocktails, Michelin star vegan food. The food was an absolute highlight for me being a vegan. A really well thought, diverse, colourful menu and every single dish I tried was delicious and bursting with flavours. Honestly, one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Staff incredible and constantly going the extra mile in providing outstanding customer service, whether that be calling me a tuk tuk to visit places, arranging boat expeditions- they even made sure I had water to take with me when I left the hotel as I had quite a drive to my next destination. Staff always SO happy, helpful and friendly. Also, the wonderfully cute and gorgeous HH- the hotel cat :) I miss this hotel already and if I ever return to El Nido town I will be sure to stay here again. Highly recommend

CanadaI really liked the manager, Rio. I had an issue with the tap lever, and he immediately arranged for someone to fix it on the spot. He also took the time to recommend other places to explore, including another hotel chain in Nacpan Beach, a Chinese restaurant with a great view, and a vegan restaurant. His hospitality made a big difference in my stay.

From the start until the end, Club Paradise never disappoint us.
Land & boat transfer was smooth, we were welcomed by Noel when we first landed and I can already feel the warmth throughout our journey to the island.
Room:
Our sunset villa was really nice.
The room was nicely designed and we had surprise swan & crab deco in our room from time to time throughout our stay.
The only thing that I can say which will else make our stay perfect is if in any of our 4 nights there, we were able to watch sunset from our room.
But I know this is at no point was the resort's fault, as we were quite unlucky to check in just when typhoon passed so the weather was not really on our side.
Meals:
For resort level especially their location in secluded island, their meals were surprisingly affordable compared to other resorts.
Meals were fulfilling but I really love their Ovaltine drink and couldn't get enough of it.
Activities:
We booked our Coron tour through resort, and I will say that this is the best tour that I've ever been to!
For the price paid, we got boat and land transfer, in addition to private tour with a really helpful and knowledgeable guide.
We also got freshly cooked lunch, and our guide even helped took pictures for us throughout the tour.
5 stars for the service!
Other than that, the resort also offer free guided snorkerling around the island and we got to see 2 turtles during our morning snorkel.
They also provide free kayak that you can use around the island.
Service:
I would like to express our gratitude towards everything that the resort staff did to ensure we had a really memorable stay.
The kitchen team paid attention to our dietary restrictions and even prepared a separate meals so we can enjoy our dinner.
I also remember that the hotel manager checked on us in the morning during breakfast to ensure our room was alright, and when I told them about the water pressure issue in the room, they sent someone to fix it right away.

WE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT OUR STAY AT EL NIDO LAGEN ISLAND! it was so organized from the airport transportation to the boat- our guide Rowell was so accommodating and informative. Rowell also did an awesome job with our tours (by the way that the reaper includes as complementary- which consist of island hoping snorkeling and lagoons)making it so much fun! Approaching Lagen island is so breathtaking. Our stay was very comfortable, clean, Serene, the food was amazing! The staff from the front desk to the servers to the chef and the managers- everyone had exceptional customer service! Very down to earth staff and super friendly!! Our stay at Lagen Island will always be one of the most memorable ones.

Astoria is our go-to, favorite resort whenever we are in Puerto Princesa City. We were assigned to the Nest where we had a direct access to the pool and very close to the Waterpark. We always love the excellent breakfast at Astoria because of its Filipino, international array of menu and of course the dessert! My son loves the ube pancake and waffles! The staff are so hands on and so nice. They go an an extra mile to make us feel at home. Lemuel at the entertainment center took care of our son - playing with him different board games - Agustin at the waterpark was extra nice and took good care of the kids; Joven at the breakfast table was so nice; and others I forgot the names..

Honestly, this place is just on another level. The whole resort is beautiful — from the white sand beach, the relaxing villas, the view of the mountains, and all that nature around you. Everywhere you look, it just feels peaceful and private. The staff was accommodating and easy to approach. And I have to mention the food — everything we tried was delicious. It really exceeded our expectations. Honestly, every corner of this resort is picture-perfect. Now I understand why everyone calls this a 5-star experience. Would 100% love to come back again!

This hotel exceeded our expectations!!! From airport pick up by Vince with cold waters and towels, to being greeted by Angel, and served by Ian in the restaurant. The room was extremely clean with nice touches such as cookies in the evening. All the food at the Hunt Restaurant was delicious! And beautiful pool and rooftop. This place exceeded our expectations! Thank you for having us and for the Pork Adobo which was the food highlight of our vacation!

El Nido is an incredible destination with breathtaking...
El Nido is an incredible destination with breathtaking limestone cliffs, crystal-clear turquoise water, and some of the best island-hopping experiences we’ve had. The tours are well organised and take you to beautiful lagoons, beaches, and snorkelling spots, so bringing your own snorkel and mask is recommended if you have them, along with water shoes for rocky shorelines, although all equipment can also be hired locally. If you’re flying into Puerto Princesa, be prepared for a long but scenic van transfer of around five hours on a winding road, it’s worth allowing plenty of time, packing snacks and water, and planning arrival during daylight if possible, as the effort is absolutely worth it once you arrive.

The damage from the previous typoons is still present. There are numerous bars, I recommend the Pacifico Bar, they have Octoberfest sized mugs to hold the Red Horse Beer. It is 50 Pesos each way from the hotel to town and back. On the island tours, the outhouses are the absolute bare minimum, a toilet, no seat, no tank, no TP, a bucket and a ladle and no sink. Wear grippy water shoes, the stairs are slippery. Go see the Coral Garden, elsewhere all the other fish are <5" and no coral. Unless you go to the the Coral Garden, the crystal kayak is a waste of money. Still I had a great time, the staff did an amazing job, life is an adventure!

The most important things to do here its the underground...
The most important things to do here its the underground river located in a cave about 2h drive away from the hotel by van to the National park. Also its nice to travel down the south for Balabac but I personally picked North up to El Nido for more Island Hoppings.

Absolutely! San Vicente really flies under the radar compared to El Nido and Coron, but that’s part of its charm. It’s less crowded, more laid-back, and still boasts those stunning, unspoiled beaches—especially the 14-kilometer Long Beach, which feels like a hidden gem.
The slower pace and warm, genuine hospitality from the locals really give it that authentic "island life" vibe. It’s perfect for people looking to relax, connect with nature, and avoid the more tourist-heavy scenes. Some even say it’s what El Nido felt like 10 or 15 years ago.

If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit, put this one on your list. It's relatively uncrowded, the people are very pleasant and the vistas are jaw dropping.
If you are a diver, and have an interest in WWII, you will find an incredible 11 Japanese wrecks to dive. I'd recommend Pirate Divers, they are very professional and very conservative when it comes to evaluating risks. They also know the wrecks like their second home.
Coron is a bustling town with good food and pleasant people, but the beauty of the island is the back country. I liked it enough in December that I'm returning in February.
To get around, I'd suggest renting a scooter. If you are new to powered two wheel vehicles stay out of Coron, and pay attention to the roads, there are some surprisingly tight turns. Otherwise, since it is relatively uncrowded you should be fine.

A delightful quiet backwater and so far less developed town. The beaches were beautiful and mostly clean. The town has plenty of activities to offer and places to eat. The whole place is walkable but you may want a Tuktuk or moped to visit further beaches.

If you intend to visit Palawan you need to be more informed than I was. The Philippines are a poor country. Accommodation is cheap and as such you get what you paid for - No hot water, some cockroaches, you cannot swim in the water because of the jellyfish, plenty of sandflies and no shop to get any relief medication. There is no way to move around unless you organize transfers that cost you as much as your accommodation. A must see if you would like to see the culture. We were unable to snorkel due to weather

El Nido is a must. Leave full days for the island hopping tours. A B C D
Zip line is a nice experience needs less than half a day. Canopy walk is Donald in a couple of hours. Best to have at least 3 full days at least

The wow factor was definitely at Twin Lagoons and Kayangan Lake. Loved swimming and snorkelling although coming from Australia, the corals and fish were a bit underwhelming. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in Coron Town. We especially liked the french restaurant Armihan Bistro, Poco Deli (next door to Epic Cafe) and Le Voyage. All catered for Gluten Free meals as well. Tuk Tuks are plentiful and easy to catch. 50 pesos for 2 peoples to take you anywhere within the town boundaries. We also walked to the hilltop lookout Mt Tapayas .. but beware, there's 720 steps to climb to get to the top from the car park!!!
