The location is accessible to transportation as it’s situated next to the town’s terminal. The place is also near groceries, bakeries and other food establishments so it’s very convenient. It’s also a big plus that the staff are very friendly and helpful. I also like that my room was facing the ocean. Nice view.

This was an exploratory trip for me. I wanted to find a place to hide once in a while to write, while being able to walk to places to eat, have a bit of fun, and get a ride to town once in a while. This place was perfect. The owner was kind and helpful. The price was quite reasonable.

Villa Kulintang provides modern, comfortable, elegant, and chic accommodation in the middle of a jungle but next door to a busy port, providing the best of both worlds: a quiet place to comfortably relax but near enough the city center to actively engage in city life, tours, etc. We felt safe, island hopping in boats captained by local fishermen (Roy, Ronel) who understand the waters, and swimming with whale sharks with local whisperer (Omar - strict!, but hey, you are dealing with wild life), and dining in style with Chris our chef and tour guide, Sylvia, and Gemma.

Definitely top notcher in Sorsogon! I have been to few hotels and serviced apartments in the Philippines and it is now my 4th visit this year with Family. Ohana serves the best breakfast you could ever imagine and all for free including famous Nespresso Coffee, no any other Accommodation has it in Sorsogon . Everything is clean, tidy and well organized. The place is so safe and secured, you would feel like being in your owm home. I really need to share our experience at Ohana, because like us, l think everyone deserves a wonderful holiday and most importantly a high standard of accommodation. We will comeback soonest! Really clean accomodation, with comfy sheets, hot shower, and perfect location near Bulusan Volcano and Zoe's Springs. Host Riwell was exceptional making sure I was taken care of, even helping me prepare food since the chef was sick. The place has lovely plants and is in nature making for a peaceful relaxing stay

    I imagine that most people would stay due to proximity to...

    I imagine that most people would stay due to proximity to the whale shark centre. Due to changes in the weather between December 2024 & March 2025 there have been 4 sightings only. Try to get a photograph of the sighting board from the whale shark centre before you book. No other real reason to visit unfortunately, victim of climate change.

    Butanding!!!!!! That's what Donsol is for.

    Butanding!!!!!! That's what Donsol is for. Oh for peace of mind at a beach resort too. But once you land you will be tempted to go for the whale shark viewing. When I say viewing, please remember that the best viewing is when you jump into the sea and not from the comfort of the boat. Even if you don't know how to swim, worry not they will give you snorkelling masks, life jacket and flippers. So you can jump into the open sea and earn bragging rights. Seeing these gentle giants is a privilege. Be sure you will be well taken care of by your Butanding Interaction Officer - who will accompany your group of 6 in a boat, and if you are in the water and are panicking, he will be your life-guard too and pluck you out and bring you back to the safety of the boat. Close to Donsol is the volcano Mt Mayon. Its so huge that when you go for your Butanding, while the spotter search for the elusive whale sharks, you can marvel at Mount Mayon rising up from the hinterland beyond. In fact the volcano in the background makes for an awesome pic on a clear day. However, I request Booking.com to try and sign up other resorts in Donsol also. I saw at least two other resorts which the Booking.com members should have as an option when they are planning their trip. One had better maintained rooms and the other had better food.
