    Olsztyn is a charming city surrounded by stunning lakes and lush forests, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers. The Old Town is cozy and picturesque, with beautiful brick architecture, including the Gothic castle where Nicolaus Copernicus once worked. It’s a peaceful place with plenty of cafes and restaurants, ideal for relaxing strolls.     A great place by the lake with beautiful nature. There is plenty to do. Along the lake there is a large promenade with many cafés and restaurants. There are many small shops, shows and music. Boats are available for rent.

    Giżycko is a nice small town with low-rise buildings and a picturesque views on the lake. Marina is small, but you can find there something that suits your taste: sailing or motor boat trip, walking or souvenir shopping, enjoying some local food together with a soothing view. For a lunch try local places called 'smażalnie ryb' with some freshwater fish specialities, but don't expect much)). Fort Boyen, Water Tower and the Swing Bridge are worth seeing! However, you may also spend all you time at MEDI.Spa in the St.Bruno hotel, especially in cold days.

    Elk is a very nice town to visit and walk around, a trip to the waterfront on the lake during the summer months is a must! It has a beautiful view but an abundance of bars on the waterfront also. Most of the bartenders and serving staff speak decent English, to get thru the language barrier for you to order a drink or food. I would recommend carrying local currency to pay for things instead of using your cards everywhere.

    This was the 1st time I went to Mazuria, and I wanted to go there to see what it looked like. I have 2 small kids then this year we could not go very far from home (Warsaw) Mragowo is a small city on a lake and that's it, then to my opinion 2 days is more than enough to visit it all. Nothing exceptional from any point of view, I would advise to go there to relax on a weekend, or if you like to play tennis as there are many tennis courts available. Personally I like much better to go to the mountains or the sea in Poland

    Hotel Krasicki is a nicely located hotel , in the middle of this little, sleepy town. There is a Museum next to the Hotel which is definitely worthy to visit- several floors of paintings. There are thermal baths located nearby, we did not visit. Very disappointed with the night outside lighting of the Castle- not at all like on their webpage.

    I went on four lake trips in 24 hours. The lakes are magical. The Lutheran church and museum are worth a visit. For fish lovers this place is heaven. I ate burbot and pike-perch, but there are lots of other options.

    Amazing little town, everything within walking distance or a cheap taxi ride. Beautiful lakes and places to see. Great Italian and Polish restaurants, as well as ice cream/dessert cafes. Fantastic bar by the Mrągowo Molo, with the lovely water tram.
