Beautiful, interesting churches and buildings. Very good museums. All very walkable. Riverfront and main square full of side walk restaurants, shops, coffeehouses. Many scattered throughout the old area as well. Perfect spot to cover Sopot, Gdansk and Gdynia, you could keep your plan flexible based on the weather, if warm, stay in the beach if cooler, explore the cities ( we went to the WW2 Museum, the petting zoo, Solidarity museum) there is also an aquapark which we didn't go as the weather was great outdoors.Guest review byLaviCzech Republic - 10.0

Gdansk exceeded my expectations.
Gdansk exceeded my expectations. The main city centre is very pretty to wander around. Worth visiting is the fabulaous and vast World War II museum which gave a good polish perspective on this turbulent time. It's not common to visit Gdynia in winter but it has its charms. The food for instance, Pierogi at Mandu, was tasty and plentiful. We caught a movie in Helios cinema, which requires travelling one stop on the SKM suburban train. From Gdynia you can travel to "the beginning of Poland", the Hel peninsula. The village is definitely worth a visit. We managed to see as many as four seals in the sea :) You can do ship or bird watching - depending on your preference - from the beach, the views are great.Guest review byPawełPoland - 10.0

Gdańsk is a lovely place with charming neighborhoods, great restaurants, and friendly people. One of the nicest cities I’ve visited in Poland. I felt safe and relaxed the entire time, it was well worth the trip. I walked a lot and also drove around quite a bit, including a visit to Sopot, which was lively and fun. I had delicious ramen at Gyozilla, an amazing donut in Sopot, and enjoyed tea from a few gas stations along the way. Thank you, Gdańsk. I’ll be back.Guest review byAlexSpain - 10.0
The Old City is really set up for tourists.
