The locals are so friendly. We had our 3 year old who is a loud talker and they were so nice to him and smiled instead of making angry or disgusted faces. Villa del Mar hau in Isabela wasn’t what we expected. Someone booked and charged us twice. We only booked one room from feb 13-14, 2025 yet the administration said we booked two rooms. What happened we don’t know but we were charged 341.70 instead of 160.73. Since it was non-refundable, nothing was able to be solved . There’s plenty of places to eat different kind of food. The gas prices were cheaper than other places in the city. Very centric no matter which way you wants to go. You have a variety of bakeries, restaurants like Metropol in Roosevelt area 15 minutes from Levittown, there’s Golden Corral in the Canóvanas area 25-30 minutes from Levittown. Denny’s in Bayamón 15 minutes from Levittown. Also Famous Dave in Carolina 20 minutes without traffic. The streets are very clean. Sanitation workers are always present. It felt very safe. Old San Juan was so very beautiful. The preserved history, the knowledgeable tour guides and the quaint cobbled streets. Another plus was the free pick up and drop off bus that worked inside Old San Juan. FANTASTIC! I mostly got take out at the Chinese Food places. It was good. I recommend getting a private tour. If you can't walk around or long distances then getting a driven tour with a guide is great.
