- From $154.80 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 429 reviewsExceptional place to stay. Great staff, amazing facilities. Few steps to the pool from the room. Rooms very clean, light and modern. This was already our second time staying there and if we will be back in Portugal, we will be coming back. It was the first time for us traveling with a little baby and the proximity of the pool to the room was excellent. Also wifi is amazing and works all over the property (definitely great for remote workers- also a common area with a desk and sofa is available)Guest review byGrossCzech Republic
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 515 reviewsLovely country-side escape. We went as a family, and all loved it for different reasons. The kids enjoyed the activities such as biking within the vineyards and kayaking on the lake while we took in the serenity and setting of this lovely estate which is supported by a friendly and passionate team. The wine was enjoyable as well...Guest review byMenardThailand
- From $111.41 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 289 reviewsThis is a unique, out-of-the-way bed and breakfast. We were charmed by the place and the kindness of the non-English-speaking caretakers. Breakfast was exceptional. There are two beautiful swimming pools, which we did not use because it was cool and drizzly.Guest review byRichardUnited States

The place is authentic and the castle perhaps the best in Portugal, not too big or overwhelming. Then there are the historic walls, a history lovers paradise. And don't forget the food, first rate. This is the "real" untouched Portugal.Guest review byIanCanada - 10.0

Interesting, authentic town/village, not touristy, but has plenty or restaurants. Many hikes and great bird watching, in the national park ,many rarities! 20 mins drive away is probably one of the best beaches in Portugal, on the Albufeira Tapada Grande if you like inland, quiet beaches.Guest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Almodóvar is a lovely village not too touristic, its rather a place where people live and also very close to Algarve. It has all amenities from health services to supermarkets, cinema, municipal pool and great restaurants and cafes with the delicious traditional costas and folhados de gila. It has a beautiful church and convent, a museum, a dam and a beautiful view point at the Ermida de St Amaro where there is always a lovely breeze. A great place for a few days of quiet time.Guest review byAnaPortugal - 10.0

A rather small industrial town.
A rather small industrial town. Some restaurants (most of those are closed) or opens after 18:00 but menu in English is a rarity. Best option is to visit supermarket and cook some dinner in the villa.Guest review byartulariLatvia - 10.0

Lovely city with an historic centre and a castle, the most beautiful botanical park, beautiful streets, plenty of restaurants, stores and a market, all walkable in minutes with confy shoes a lot of the floor is cobbles in the centre. We didnt fancy big meals so we ate at the Pizzaria Serpense near the park, delicious pizzas and other food at very good prices. But there are typical restaurants in the centre. In the summer there is always some music concert going on. Great for a couple of nights break.Guest review byAnaPortugal - 10.0

On our journey, we had previously explored the Rio Tinto mines in Huelva, Spain. We discovered that Minas de São Domingos was exactly located at the other end of the 300 kilometer long mineral deposit belt! It was intriguing to explore the rows of mining houses that lined the quiet lanes of the small town. there was also a poignant mural putting a compassionate face on the difficult life of the miner. For anyone interested in mining history, staying in this village was a great pause. continue on to Rio Tinto to see the large and informative mining museum.Guest review bymuhammadUnited States - 2.0

At checkin told me I had APA, the next morning I was told I didn’t have the right to it. As well it is quite appalling the fact that I went to the bar and was told by an employee that he wouldn’t serve us to go to the “bar do jardim” to have a drink. Looks like this hotel does not need business.Guest review byDiana MichellePortugal - 10.0

Beja is a wonderful city with the modern juxtaposed with the very old. It is nice to walk the old curving narrow streets of the old part of the city. The people make it great as they are open, warm and gracious. Many people speak English.Guest review byAnonymous
