Most of staff there are smiling and provide good service. The room was great, with balcony, clean, fridge full of a good variety of drinks, hot drinks facilities and spacious. We stayed at this hotel for 5 days and would have stayed longer if rooms were available. The restaurant staff had only about 2 staff smiling and being happy to serve, the rest look like are they are there just because they need the money, which is a great shame as the food was absolutely 5 stars, delicious, presented beautifully and affordable. Congratulations to the chef! Communication with reception was excellent and prompt before arrival and very helpful during our stay. Many thanks. We discovered that in a nearby village you can take lessons or as a onetime, ride horses, see donkeys and goats. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. This place is also suitable for children with autism. Highly recommended.

All the staff (admin, reception staff, cleaners and servers at breakfast) were extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgable and welcoming. The room wasn't large but it was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel was centrally located and easy to find. Parking was free and right at the door. It was a short walking distance from shops, restaurants and the attractions in the centre of town. The Wifi was strong and secured. The breakfast was excellent!

Excellent hotel in a most unexpected location. Really impressed with what they made of it, with great spa facilities, a good restaurant and lovely greenery around. The staff is most professional and responsive - and special mention for the baby care room, which is really thoughtfully set up, even providing free diapers for guests who might have run out. Hats off to the team, excellent value for money. 100% recommend staying here

Buzau is a great place if you wish to be close to Bucharest...

Buzau is a great place if you wish to be close to Bucharest but far enough to explore the area. It was a mid stop for us before we visited Snagov Monastery. The neighbourhood is buzzing with life and plenty of places to unwind.

The people are nice and shopping for usual stuff is easy. I loved the market there. Outside Carrfore supermarket they were serving freshly made “mici”, a traditional food that is extremely delicious. Inside the supermarket there was a counter with great variety of cakes where also you can buy pizza by the slice. In the market locals are selling their own cheese, vegetables and fruits , honey and anything you can think of.

I know this area for almost 14 years.I've been here before, in Gura Teghii and I really liked the landscape with mountains, water.We came back because we like the area.We booked at Casa Neagu and we were very pleased with the way the owner managed our stay: excelent accommodation conditions: hot water, excessive heat in the room, clean linen and towels, the restaurant was working as we stayed at the pension. The food was great: the soup was very very tasty, the main course was also great, the breakfast was beyond our expectations.We will certainly come back to the people of humanity, dear to our soul.

Berca is a small village located on the Buzau River, great area to explore and when good weather you can adventure to see the Mud volcanoes - Boilers. Travel Romania the "Back roads" for more adventure like this.

Nice small town with easy access to everything you might need. The park is something else with a beautiful lake and a terraced bar / restaurant too. I would only say that Brits should stay away, especially those that follow Farage and/or voted for Brexit. You can't have your cake and eat it too - this place is too good for you.

Gura Teghii is a little village almost at the end of a road.

Gura Teghii is a little village almost at the end of a road. There are a couple of houses more 4 or 5 km away and after that there is just a small road through the forrest. Its very nice if you want to do something in the nature. There are not too many options if you like parties or something similar. There is the possibility to buy food but there are not big supermarkets in the village

The city was under construction period so we couldn't walk...

The city was under construction period so we couldn't walk around and see the city. We had lunch and dinner at Bistro Junior and Rigo restaurant and enjoyed our meals. The apartment we stayed was well taken care and cosy.In the center of the city and yet not noisy at all.
