We took a very varius breackfast and we spended the day at the pool and in the jacuzzi (on the last floor). We ate a delicious dinner (fish) in Saturday night. The water is not good for drink, so we bought before some bottles (but I think you can also buy from the reception) and the spa/pool area is open from 12 until 20. Bușteni really is a gem in the Prahova Valley. Its relatively flat layout compared to nearby towns like Sinaia or Azuga does make it more walkable, especially for longer strolls without steep climbs. Being right at the foot of the Caraiman Peak with the Bucegi Mountains towering around gives it that dramatic, postcard-perfect backdrop. It's no wonder the town has become a favourite for both hikers and casual visitors alike. Beautiful region, very touristy and popular but rightfully so. If you like mountain, fresh air, good food, warm, welcoming people this is the place for you. Amazing landscapes and trails are here and in the surroundings. You can spend weeks here and still leave unexplored places behind. my main interest was in the Sf Nicolae Church of the Valachian princes, dating from 14th c, one of the oldest in our country and with great old frescoes inside and the ruins of a valachian princes court (Curtea Domneasca) nearby. there is still to visit "Manastirea Argesului", the church housing the remains of the romanian kings, but as it was completely rebuilt in the 19th century my interest for it's architecture is lower. Curtea de Arges is a small town very easy to get around. most restaurants are on the main street and I could find some take-away even in late evening. the town is a good starting point to cross the mountains on Transfagarasean, a high altitude and spectacular street over the Carpathians but also for a journey in the hill land below the mountains in the counties of Arges and Dambovita.Guest review byAndrei__FRomania - 10.0

Lovely town, surrounded by hills. See the historical town center and go to long walks in the nature right in the city - either on Cozla hill, Pietricica hill or near the river Bistrita (highly recommended).
