One of the trails (blue triangle leading up to peak Suhardul Mic) are just a minute's walk away. The villa also has a huge very well equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, fussball and ping pong tables, and in the outdoor part you have a grill, benches, and a couple of swings for both adults and kids to enjoy. Small town, it still has a few interesting things, like hockey and ice skating that is one of the sports that is popular in the region. We used our stay for a visit to the Lacul Rosu and the Bizac Gorge. There is a little walk around the lake, which is a way of escaping the mass of tourist visiting the place in summer. The Bizac Gorge is really outstanding, despite the issue that you can basically only drive through by car. Very nice location, surrounded by mountains and forest, coming from the city you feel like you can really breathe. Very close to main tourist attractions like Sfanta Ana Lake, Balvanyos springs, Miercurea Ciuc. Hanul Secuiesc was a good recommendation for having lunch or dinner and we had a great time at Bowling Pub one evening. The town is not very well maintained, a lot of ruined buildings and quite dirty on some places. Always one of my favorite places to visit. Grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants on the shore (with a view!) then go and walk the easy trail circling the Red Lake through the forest. The Langos and ice cream are very good in the area! It can get a bit crowded during peak season so it's worth seeing during the off-season as well (winter especially!).Guest review byVladRomania
