The centre if Iasi is a beautiful city. Its like any city really with the good and bad areas. I expected a different city as we hear so much about corruption and prostitution in Romania yet I seen none of this, nothing. I found the people however very cold. In shops and restaurants especially people were cold distance and rarely smiled. I found this hard. I goggled it and the findings state this is normal and that romanians wont let their barrier down with strangers. I found it hard.
