A grade of 10 is too low for this hotel. The communication with the hotel before the arrival was very good. The atmosphere is great and the staff are super friendly and making an effort to help. The modern design that is kept very clean, and the breakfast.. this is phenomenal! . I loved every bit of our stay and I wish I could stay more in this hotel

    Great hotel: the rooms are modern, the bed is comfortable, and the rooms are soundproofed well (couldn’t hear any noise from outside / neighboring rooms). Great spa facilities: the saunas and steam room are great, the massages are amazing (highly recommend), and there is also a pool and a jacuzzi. It’s also nice that they have an outside area where you can tan, and they serve drinks / food in the spa. Great restaurant: the food was pretty good, we tried the included breakfast and separately had lunch as well Good location: there’s a shopping mall nearby Great service: all the personnel was extremely nice and welcoming

    We liked the cleanliness and the location of the hotel, right in the center of Sovata. It has a large parking place behind the hotel. It features a spa, which is small, but very nice, it has 2 saunas, one dry, one with steam, 1 small salt water pool and a mid-sized swimming pool. Also a jacuzzi and an outside sitting area. We had the breakfast included, which was an international style buffet. It was good overall and fresh but food is average.

Daniella contacted us directly, stayed up until we got there and made sure we were settled before she left. Then was on hand the next day to greet us. Excellent personal service.     Its a beautiful city in the heart of Transylvania which has a rich history and cultural background, with architecture that reflects this. Its situated on both sides of the Mures river and as such is predisposed to thick fog, and high degree of moisture. The city revolves around its medical university and facilities. The traffic is a complete chaos the first time you get there with narrow streets and difficult rush hours.

    Sovata was above my expectations!

    Sovata was above my expectations! We loved the touristic area nearby the lakes. Also the food is delicious at Kali Restaurant! A friend recommended us this restaurant and we ended being a huge fan, eating each day there.

    We booked for 2 kids and 2 adults.

    We booked for 2 kids and 2 adults. The room is spacious with 2 toilets, one with the bath. Has a king sized bed and a sofa bed wich they opened for us and it was enough for another 2 person. The room had a majestic feel with high sealing and settings. Everything was spotless. We really enjoyed our stay.

    We had lunch at Tiltott Csiki Söröző & Étterem @ Szászrégen / Reghin, that was our best gastronomy experience during our trip to Transylvania. However, there are very rural and abandoned parts of Reghin, you might avoid. We stayed there because it seemed a good place to stop during our way back to Hungary. Our accomodation Pensiunea Blanca was the best choice, mostly recommended.

    Danes is a nice, quiet village.

    Danes is a nice, quiet village. For us it was excellent because we wanted to discover the fortified evangelical churches in the area (there's one in Danes too, but we found it closed and didn't had the chance to search for whoever has the key - there's nothing special, that's how it is most of the times). Overall I can't say Danes is amazing - the whole area is and would deserve more tourists.

    We went to SIghisoara to visit the Citadel and the old town and one day 2 nights was enough as we had visited Viscri, where King Charles has the house. Also Biertan and Medias and Biertan Fortified Churches on the way from Poiana Brasov. Also visited the Orthodox Church which is ver interesting.

    The food was excellent.

    The food was excellent. The people were welcoming even though they didn't seem to get many English tourists. There were some old buildings to see and many restaurants to go to which were well priced. I also enjoyed the meal of the day idea, which meant you got to try a selection of local food.

    Nice place surrounded by the forest, the water in the Black Lake and the Bear Lake is salted, warm and wonderful, the terrace Boema is very nice with live music and the people ar dancing on the dance floor, good food, a lot of souvenirs shops with hand crafts, very kind people. I recomand Sovata like a very beautiful destination for vacation!
