- From $82.44 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 461 reviewsWe recently stayed at Cabana Schiori and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The chalet is nestled in a stunning location, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, forest and mountins, very close to teleferic. The accommodation itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, combining modern comforts with rustic charm. The suite (room no.6) was spacious, the beds incredibly comfortable and the balcony was perfect for the morning coffees. The sfaff was great, friendly, attentive and the manager who showed the fishes to our kids was higly aprreciated. The kids saw "pastruga" fishes and found out about thier story thanks to the manager of the chalet. They had a lot of fun, thank you for that! One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible live music. The band that played during the evenings created an unforgettable ambiance.Guest review byIonela LuminitaRomania
- From $92.55 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,439 reviewsI am basing this very high review on what occurred upon check-in. Upon arrival at Sinai, we saw a notice on the hotel door telling us to check in across the road at Hotel Sinai, their partner hotel. The person at the check in told us our hotel was not available and we were upgraded to Hotel Sinai instead. Although we would have been happy to stay at the very rustic Hotel Rina Cerbul, we were very happy to be upgraded to Hotel Sinai. It was a seamless experience with outstanding levels of service offered by all persons we encountered. I cannot comment about Hotel Rina Cerbul but I can comment on the people that look after you - they are very well trained and I can only assume if the Hotel Rina Cerbul was open, we would have received similar levels of service.Guest review byDanielAustralia
- From $253.35 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 859 reviewsI have absolutely loved this place! Perfect conditions, nice, clean and clearly recently renovated place and well maintained. The breakfast and dinner included in the price was delicious and they offered a wide variety of food. Staff was very friendly and helpful and I would particularly mention the staff at reception and the ones at the restaurant, including Madusanka and Kumar who served us during our stay there, as well as the restaurant manager (unfortunately I didn't get to know his name but he was very helpful with our baby). This is a perfect place to come if you have a family! Also you can have nice walks around in nature and visit Ialomita Cave or just stay indoors with your little ones.Guest review byBenUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 831 reviewsThe location is set on a fairytale hillside, between the vineyards and offers wonderful views of the surroundings. The accommodation was unique, as we stayed at the hillside private villas, beautifully decorated and offered a great sense of tranquility. The restaurants had a diverse and delicious menu, while the wait staff was very professional and accommodated all our needs.Guest review byDanielaItaly

I loved the indoor and outdoor pool.
I loved the indoor and outdoor pool. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The dinners were also well prepared and delicious. I took the train from Bucharest....easier than driving there with all the traffic and narrow roads.Guest review byJ.B.Romania - 10.0
Bușteni really is a gem in the Prahova Valley.
Bușteni really is a gem in the Prahova Valley. Its relatively flat layout compared to nearby towns like Sinaia or Azuga does make it more walkable, especially for longer strolls without steep climbs. Being right at the foot of the Caraiman Peak with the Bucegi Mountains towering around gives it that dramatic, postcard-perfect backdrop. It's no wonder the town has become a favourite for both hikers and casual visitors alike. If you're up for it, the hike or cable car up to the Heroes’ Cross on Caraiman is well worth the effort—stunning views from up there.Guest review by\florinUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I did have reservations about going to Romania to watch a sporting event in town but these proved completely unfounded and we thoroughly enjoyed our 12 day stay. Yes, the town does have the hallmarks of an ex eastern block design but that just adds character and charm of these and other period buildings in amongst the newer westernised designs. All the bars and restaurants we went into were very accommodating, clean, polite and above all reasonably priced compered to UK. Everyone we met out and about was polite and accommodating despite and language barriers - we all got there in the end!! I would gladly go back and explore a little bit more and the nearby locations of Bran Castle (Dracula) and Brasov a definite must whilst you are there tooGuest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 4.0

Good to visit during ski season. Little to do outside of it. Not to mention the access from Bucharest and even Brasov. Awful traffic all thorough the year. Many hours spent is a standstill queue. Other much better alternatives available.Guest review byMihai OctavianRomania - 4.0

Not sure what one can do in Slanic besides visiting the salt mine. The city seems to be in some sort of limbo; on one side some of the streets are coquettish and clean and quite, on the other side it is not a city bustling with life. At all.Guest review byCristianGermany - 10.0

Unexpectedly, one of the most beautiful and nature-rich, as well as history rich places in Romania. The legendary Hasdeu castle, as well as the House of Nicolae Grigorescu museum are here. The Brebu Monastery is Heaven on Earth to see. Also, don't miss the Doftana Valley. One of the best and easiest trips to take, from Bucharest.Guest review byvioletaRomania - 8.0

Nice quaint town in the middle of the Dealu Mare wine region about 2 hours drive from Bucharest. Some decent eating choices in the town of Mizil about 15 minutes away. There are lot of modern wineries with good inexpensive wines within 15-25 minutes. We had excellent personalized wine tours at LacertA winery & Budureasca winery with the wine makers. It was exceptional at both the places.Guest review byRekhaUnited States - 2.0
Avoid this apartment.
Avoid this apartment. In reality it looks like an abandoned and heavily improvised accommodation, not operational during the winter season although available on Booking. Had to cancel it on a short notice but the owners were not eager to find the compromise and had to pay the full price. Lesson learned from my side. Never ever there.Guest review byHrvojeAustria - 10.0
Nice houses, including some old ones.
Nice houses, including some old ones. Take the time to go by car towards Pucioasa, there are some great views. Visit "Livada David" a big surface orchard, with own products for sale. On the minus side, some streets are just for one car, even if on the map it may look like any other street. Stick to the main streets for wondering by car.Guest review byvalentinaRomania - 8.0
Sinaia is a charming city, worth for a medium long stay.
Sinaia is a charming city, worth for a medium long stay. It offers history, culture, as well as great culinary experiences. Make sure you include a visit to Peles Castle. If you like hiking, walk to Poiana Stanii and have a picnic there. Take the cable car and go up, where you can admire the breathtaking landscape that lays at your feet. On the main street, in the center you will find a very small bakery offering the best langos (cheese pie) in town.Guest review byCristina
