Party on the deck was perfect, as the night fell we cooled off. Amazing view, again, very attentive staff, great food. Breakfast is good, everything is fresh. Only good things to say about this property. Staff was very exited to hear my ideas about adding kids floaters for the pool and they were even adding ideas of their own, seemed very comfortable to bring it up to the management which tells me that the management treats their staff well. A nice city for 2-4 days' visit. Don't miss the Parliament guided tour and the old town restaurants. Public transport is good and inexpensive. The city is one of the cleanest capitals I have been to. The hosts were extremely kind and responsive. They allowed our group to use all the amenities. I strongly recommend. We took advantage of the snow and made a snowman in the yard. lovely location and good communication to begin with, with the owner however when showing faults of the inside room they did not agree although there is proof. There is mould in bathroom and the smell is very overwhelming despite leaving the windows opened. I could not stay for more than the weekend with dust/dirt of the room honestly. Snagov is close to Bucharest so you can have a getaway easily. There's a lake you can visit but come prepared to meet mosquitos in the evening and bring a repellent product to protect yourself. It's easy to visit, I ate at Country Spa and have previously dined at Casa Vlasia as well - bit pricy but food is OK. Bucharest used to be a very nice city -- great architecture, calm surroundings, nice people. Not any more. The decay it has sustained is unbelievable. So many historical buildings are completely neglected, that many areas look like they've been through a war. This started during Covid and hasn't stopped since. Even the buildings that are in use are covered with graffiti; studies have shown that people tend to maintain cleanliness if an area is clean and that they litter and vandalize if they see garbage and dirt around them. Cleaning the graffiti wouldn't be very expensive, and it would bring enormous benefits. On the other hand, a lot of areas are hell-on-earth because of incessant "construction", although no real improvement results from it.
