Stayed in Timisoara twice. It's a very beautiful city. It's got such a nightlife vibe, 11 PM and the main square is full of people having fun. On my 2nd stay here there was a festival and there was a concert in the Liberty Square, with tons of people, beer, fast food places etc. Architecturally also, the city is very nice. I advise people to give Timisoara a chance, visit, and enjoy a reborn city. Great place to overnight while passing through. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Staff was very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend. The pool area was a bit small and crowded but I didn't stay there to swim so it didn't affect me. Restaurant and bar on site. Good food. Supermarket across the street. The city is being reborn from inside out. Many old buildings have been restored to their original glory. Many are under restoration projects. Same for historical buildings, churches and cultural landmarks. You can see, feel and touch history that goes back over 2,000 years... and feel safe and welcomed.
